    Job DescriptionSalary: Renaissance Behavioral Health (RBH), a leading community mental health provider in northeast Ohio, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Work Intern to join our dynamic team. As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with our diverse client population in an outpatient setting, under the supervision of our experienced clinical staff. Responsibilities: Assist in conducting diagnostic evaluations and mental health assessments for RBH clients. Assist with providing individual psychotherapy and crisis intervention services. Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans, incorporating therapeutic interventions, group therapy, counseling, and other mental health services. Participate in case management activities, including telephone or telehealth triage. Assist in the preparation and execution of mental health and substance use care programs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with RBH policies and procedures. Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure the highest quality of care for clients Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's level social work, counseling, or behavioral health-related program from an institution accredited by the Council of Social Work Education or similar accrediting body. Demonstrated experience or interest in the mental health field. Ability to obtain an SWT (Social Work Trainee) license. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a propensity for compassion and the ability to relate to clients with diverse needs. Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills, with the capacity to manage multiple cases effectively. Sound critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess client needs and develop appropriate interventions.
