DESCRIPTION
Provides culturally competent and appropriate alcohol and drug outpatient treatment and other behavioral health counseling to people served by Community Counseling Solutions (CCS) who are also in the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. The position provides treatment in accordance with the Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR's), OCEACT fidelity requirements, and the mission and values of CCS. The position works closely with other involved community partners and is professional in all aspects of service delivery. Additionally, this position assists administration in meeting the alcohol and drug treatment needs of the community.

Supervision Received
This position is supervised by an Addictions Clinical Supervisor and/or the ACT Clinical Supervisor.
Supervision Exercised
This position does not supervise other employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive alcohol and drug treatment assessments upon program admission and at least annually thereafter. Develop client centered service plans in conjunction with the QMHP. Provide individual and group counseling, including EIMR (dual-diagnosis) groups. Monitor progress with SUD goals and objectives and conduct thorough discharge summaries and relapse prevention plans.
Participate in the ACT On Call Crisis rotation and provide support to clients as needed. Be familiar with all ACT clients so that trust is established and clients feel comfortable-- whether they have a SUD diagnosis or not.
Where appropriate, provide Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) activities. Provide all other associated services to ensure the highest quality of treatment.
Actively participate in joint case planning and coordination with agency employees. Act as a liaison between clients and other agencies. Act as a client advocate when appropriate.
Actively participate in group and individual supervision sessions.
Work with other staff and community representatives to initiate new programs, review, evaluate and help revise existing programs as necessary.
Perform joint case planning and coordination in areas of alcohol and drug counseling and behavioral health counseling with other community agencies including but not limited to schools, group homes, police organizations, district attorney's offices, courts, community clinics and hospitals, tribal entities, and other agencies in the Department of Human Services.
Provide alcohol and drug and behavioral health education and information to various interest groups.
Complete all paperwork in a way that is professional, clinically sound, and timely as prescribed by the OAR's and other pertinent guidelines. Required to ensure that all paperwork is present, and/or the client record is well maintained.
Attend training, meetings, conferences, etc. as directed by administration and use the information gathered to benefit the agency and the customers.
Utilize agency software/computer systems to prepare current client records of treatment and reports as necessary and required.
Transport clients as required.
Administer forms for drug testing, provide accurate information on the drug testing results to clients, in some cases observe the drug test, and record all pertinent information.
Must report all abuse to appropriate legal office, complete all necessary paperwork and investigations, and develop safety plans as required.

Those recovering from a substance use disorder must be able to document continuous abstinence under independent living conditions or recovery housing for the immediate past two years.

Must possess, or can acquire, knowledge of symptoms and challenges faced by people with mental illness and addictions. Must have, or possess the ability to acquire, knowledge about relevant OAR's.
Must have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing and can work independently and complete all responsibilities in a thorough and timely fashion.
Must have skills to professionally work with the public and the ability to coordinate services across various agencies and community groups.
Must be able to develop cooperative and respectful relationships with clients and their families.
Must have knowledge, or the ability to acquire knowledge, about the Motivational Interviewing, the recovery model, stages of change, and harm reduction.
Must possess the ability to represent the interest of the customer and the agency in a favorable light in the community.

The position requires the handling of highly confidential information. Must adhere to rules and laws pertaining to client confidentiality.
CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS
Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 410-007-0200 through 410-007-0380.
In addition to a pre-employment background check, each employee, volunteer and contractor shall be checked on a monthly basis against the OIG and GSA exclusion lists, as well as other federal and state agency lists. If it is discovered that an employee, volunteer or contractor is excluded or sanctioned it will be the cause for immediate termination of employment, volunteering, or the termination of the contract.
PERSONAL AUTO INSURANCE
Must hold a valid driver's license as well as personal auto insurance for privately owned Vehicles utilized for CCS business such as client service purposes, travel between business offices and the community, to attend required meetings and training.
Must show proof of $300,000 or more liability coverage for bodily injury and $100,00 or more liability coverage for property damage and maintain said level of coverage for the duration of employment at CCS.
The employee's insurance is primary with CCS insurance being secondary. CCS reserves the right to deny any employee the use of a vehicle owned by CCS.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use office automation including computer and phone systems that requires fine manipulation, grasping, typing, and reaching. Sitting for several hours reviewing reports and other written materials and talking on phone. This position may occasionally be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds. Incumbents will occasionally have to reach, bend, kneel and squat when adjusting equipment or retrieving supplies.
The employee needs to be able participate in vehicle travel between partner offices, individual homes, in the community, and to attend required meetings and/or training.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed primarily in the community, but also in an office environment. At times, work may be conducted from home via phone and video services. The noise level in the office environment is usually moderate, but occasionally one may be exposed to loud noises. The noise in the community, including the homes of customers, is often difficult to predict. Occasional out of area travel and overnight stays will be required for attendance at meetings and/or training.
However, the employee also will be required to work in the community and homes of the clients we serve. Handicap access may not be available at all places where this position must go. There are some situations where this position may be required to respond to environments where a client is in crisis. The environments in these situations are difficult to predict and may be in uneven terrain.
This position exposes the employee to the everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as an office.

Position Summary: The Foster Care Case Manager (FCCM) is responsible for safety and services to children and families in foster care. Maintains a caseload of 12 to 15 children depending on program capacity and the needs of the agency. Caseload size may be temporarily increased due to a CM's extended absence and/or position vacancy.
Provide full case management services to children and their families in the MO foster and adoptive care system from the time of assignment until case closure or transfer.
Documents all activities and maintain data entry in FACES (state online database system) and CSWIS (consortium online database system) in a timely and accurate manner.
Has face-to-face contact with each assigned child and his/her family at least monthly (may require extensive travel based on the individual needs of the child and family). Has telephone contact with each child and family support provider regularly to review provider activities and to receive reports regarding case progress.
Evaluate and factually report the impact of services to team members and judiciary; attend all court hearings; schedule, coordinate and facilitate FST meetings within prescribed time frames.
Participates in FCCM consortium on-call schedule as EOC (employee on-call) for PCHAS on a rotating basis.

Job Summary:
New Season operates a number of nationally recognized and accredited methadone treatment centers dedicated to helping individuals with prescription drug abuse and/or opiate addiction regain control of their lives.

Essential Functions:
Works with patients to complete all intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
Documents patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
Completes patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within the required time frame.

Performs individual, group, and family counseling as required.
Performs at least 20 hours of direct one-on-one patient contact per week through individual or group counseling.

Overview:

**POSITION OVERVIEW**
The **Counselor** will provide counseling, assessment, advocacy and referral services to child and teen witnesses and/or victims of domestic and gender-based violence. They will also provide information and outreach to the community, in order to empower community members with more education and resources. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for social justice and experience providing clinical services to child witnesses and/or victims of gender-based violence and other forms of trauma, while also working effectively as part of a clinical team to advocate for survivors and their families.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Provide mental health services for survivors and their children including short term individual counseling and crisis intervention with children, teens, and families;
* Complete clinical assessments and treatment plans;
* Develop effective relationships with children and families;
* Facilitate appropriate clinical groups for clients, including, but not limited to, children's support group and parenting skills groups;
* Collaborate with staff throughout Sanctuary for Families to provide holistic services;
* Participate in team and agency meetings, individual supervisory meetings, case conferences and other meetings as requested;
* Advocate for and assist families/individuals in the negotiation of service delivery system to ensure receipt of appropriate clinical and related services.
* Complete all appropriate paperwork, including case notes and reports, in a timely manner;
* Assist with children's room coverage as needed to support team in providing services to families seeking services;
* Conduct outreach and training related to gender based and domestic violence;
* Provide support and supervision to MSW interns as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor;
* Competence in evidence-based modalities such as CPP (Child Parent Psychotherapy), TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and/or Creative Arts Therapy preferred

* A minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience with victims of domestic violence, including work with children;

Key Responsibilities:
Monitors and supports cafeteria staff to ensure meal preparation, service, and cleanliness standards are met.
Oversees inventory management, including tracking stock levels, placing orders, and verifying deliveries to ensure an efficient supply of food and materials.
Maintains compliance with district, Federal, and State health regulations to ensure safe food handling practices and a healthy school meal environment.
Engages with administrators, district staff, and vendors to resolve issues, provide information, and support decision-making related to nutrition services.
Compiles and maintains accurate records, including inventory logs, reconciliation reports, and food service data.
Conducts or supports training for cafeteria personnel on health standards, safety protocols, and sanitation practices.
Works alongside the Director to support department goals and maintain smooth operations.

The MCS will also circulate throughout the program to be available to meet any physical, emotional, or spiritual needs of the members, as well as to determine the need for additional support and ensure this information is provided to counselors, nurses, and therapists. This position will be for our 7pm to 7am shift.

A high school diploma or GED
A minimum of 1 year of experience in the treatment industry
A current and valid Missouri Driver's License (Class E required after 30 days of employment)
