This assignment will be to patrol an assigned area and enforce State and local laws; to receive and serve civil processes and subpoenas; to supervise inmates in the jail facility; to perform duties as a courtroom bailiff; and to perform other related duties as required. Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduation from high school or possession of a GED. Certificate: Possession of a valid POST Basic Certificate issued by the California Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training. In addition to the above, applicants must: 1. Monitor radio channels for service requests from other jurisdictions and emergency radio traffic that may affect the City's operations.
