General Purpose of Job The Courier is responsible for providing reliable and timely transportation of documents, supplies, and other essential items between Children's Network of Hillsborough offices, partner agencies, and community locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and other items to designated locations. Follow delivery routes and time schedules efficiently. Load, transport, and unload items in a safe and secure manner. Obtain delivery confirmations and signatures as required. Communicate with agency identified point of contacts to confirm delivery instructions or address issues. Maintain delivery logs, receipts, and reports. Inspect and maintain the condition of the delivery vehicle. Adhere to all traffic and safety laws while operating the vehicle. Assist with office-related errands, light clerical tasks, or event setup as needed. Perform additional responsibilities and tasks assigned to support the overall operations and mission of Children's Network of Hillsborough. Working Hours CNHC's believes in work life balance for all employees. This is an in-office position with a field work requirements. Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm averaging forty (40) hours per week. Working hours may vary based on business needs. Travel Travel in and outside of Circuit 13 is required. Use of a personal vehicle will be required, and appropriate mileage will be reimbursed. Training All employees must complete fifteen (15) hours of on-line or classroom Training on an annual basis. If the employee is a Certified Child Welfare Professional, training hours must total twenty (20) annually. Qualified applicants will be able to demonstrate safe/efficient driving skills. Ability to adhere and enforce all HIPPA and Bloodborne Pathogens procedures. Must be able to pass a background check and substance abuse screen. Vehicles, fuel, and insurance are provided. This is a company employee, hourly position. Shifts may include weekdays, weekday evenings and weekends, but you may be asked to cover other shifts as well. Must be able to work on-call schedules and some holidays.
