    Job DescriptionFull Time Night Driver Courier - Montgomery, AL MACS is currently looking for a Full Time delivery driver. We are in need of friendly, customer oriented and safety minded individuals. Hours are 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. A day is rotated off during the 6 day/week schedule. Job Requirements Basic computer skills Be able to read and write in English Possess / maintain valid Alabama driver's license Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen Pass / possess / maintain Department of Transportation Certificate of Medical Fitness Have reliable transportation to and from work Possess and maintain an acceptable MVR Possess and maintain a clean criminal record Be familiar with the local area / roads / landmarks Be able to read and follow directions / read a map Follow all local traffic laws Possess good customer relations and communication skills Be self motivated and capable of driving alone for lengths of 6-10 hours at a time Drive long distances per Day, 250 - 650 miles, depending on route Be able to drive a passenger vehicle Be able to safely operate the following vehicle types: economy car, pickup truck, minivan, cargo van, Be able to lift (with hand truck assistance): 50 pounds Be able to drive after dark Be flexible with work schedule / acceptable to change Be familiar with overall vehicle operations and simple repairs while on the road. Thoroughly check assigned vehicle's fluids, tire pressure, etc. Add when necessary (at MACS cost) Be knowledgeable and physically able to change a tire if needed.
