Position Summary
The Courier is responsible for transporting documents, supplies, and equipment between district locations in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. This position also maintains the district warehouse, manages supply inventory, assists with seasonal grounds needs, and ensures compliance with all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Pick up and deliver mail, payroll, monies, and other sensitive or time-sensitive documents.
Make bank deposits as assigned.
Order, deliver, and maintain supplies and inventory in the warehouse.
Ensure accurate supply inventory counts at schools.
Clean, organize, and maintain the warehouse environment.
Pick up and deliver equipment and perform special deliveries as requested.
Assist with snow, ice, and debris removal around the warehouse.
Perform routine scheduled maintenance checks for the courier vehicle and report issues promptly.
Follow all safety policies and procedures; report hazards or conditions needing repair.
Practice energy conservation measures in daily operations.
Considered essential staff during emergencies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Overview
The Graduate School Financial Aid Office administers over $250 million in assistance and serves more than 3,000 students across Ph.D., MS, MA and non-degree programs in collaboration with more than sixty departments.
The Associate Director, Operations, GSAS Financial Aid assists the Director of Graduate School Financial Aid with the management of the daily operations and programs of the department with a focus on innovation and strategic use of technology. Provides leadership for functional performance and workflow, working in an advisory capacity to team members and units, and ensures timeliness in the administration of funding in compliance with school, University and external policies governing student funding. This position will assist in ensuring all teams have the resources and alignment required to be successful in managing student funding and achieving organizational objectives. Essential duties:
* Leverages technologies to create, maintain, and enhance workflow processes, develop and optimize queries for cyclical use and for ad-hoc requests, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in data handling. Maintain and update dashboard reports. Provide accurate and timely data to stakeholders while ensuring data integrity across all platforms.
* Designs, develops, and maintains interactive dashboards and operational reports using query tools; (e.g. Power BI, Argos and Data Warehouse/Data Mart sources. Partner with IT and data teams to define trusted datasets, metrics, and logic.

* Manages aspects of annual set-up and coordination with program construction of algorithms, packaging formulas, rules, and other tools; creation and approval of selection sets; and batch posting data.
* Updates and maintains website content. Reviews, writes, and edits text as required. Drafts departmental communications for the unit.
* Assists in long-range planning and maintain a processing schedule.
* Serves as a point of contact for departmental leadership and students for programs and appointments.

Overview
The Director, Staff Operations FAS, GSAS and Yale College works directly with the Senior Director of Finance and Administration to ensure high-quality administrative support in the Faculty of Arts & Sciences (FAS), Graduate School (GSAS) and Yale College. The Director works collaboratively with leadership and Human Resources on recruiting and hiring, as well as managing current staffing support. EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Part-time, 5 hours per business day
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Part-Time Courier is responsible for the secure, timely, and accurate delivery of packages, documents, and other materials across district and municipal locations. This role requires a reliable, detail-oriented individual with strong time management skills, discretion, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and materials to designated locations in a timely and secure manner.
Transport items to and from Board of Education members, City Hall, the U.S. Post Office, district schools, and other locations as directed.
Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and maintain accurate delivery records.
Prepare all outgoing district correspondence for mailing, including weighing materials, applying correct postage, and adhering to procedures for certified, return-receipt, and overnight mail.
Track and report district-wide postal expenditures monthly to the Business Office.
Handle all materials with care to prevent damage during transport.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle; conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to changes as necessary.
Communicate promptly with the supervisor regarding delivery status or issues.
Ensure compliance with district policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
Handle confidential and sensitive materials with discretion.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Operations or designee.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Connecticut driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to be bonded.
Prior experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a similar role preferred.
Professional, respectful, and courteous demeanor, especially when interacting with students and staff.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with GPS systems and efficient route planning.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Primarily field-based, with frequent driving.
May involve exposure to various weather conditions.
Occasional lifting and carrying of materials.
A flexible schedule may be required, including evenings, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
