The Role
Drives company truck to deliver produce to customers on an assigned route. Assist warehouse in storing incoming produce, returning produce to coolers, fuels trucks and trailer refrigeration unit, occasionally pick produce orders, hook and unhook truck from trailer, inspect equipment, load, unload trailer, and breakdown pallets of produce. Fill out and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.

Notifies dispatcher of departure time and first stop
Drives to customer location, either a retail location or general food service
Backs into loading dock or pulls into loading zone
Checks in with customer and receives instructions on where to drop product
Unloads pallets of product and transports using electric pallet jack to customer desired location
If requested, driver will down stack product from pallet
Uses hand truck to move individual boxes at certain stops
Receives signature on invoice
Loads pallet jack back on truck with empty pallets
Loads returns on truck
Drives to next stop and repeat
At end of shift, returns paper work to dispatcher
Off loads pallets and pallet jack. Unhooks trailer at dock, and drives tractor to parking area for semi tractors. Install and remove tire chains as needed
Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle equipped with an outward and driver facing dash cam.
Adhere to company policy regarding dash cam usage and data privacy.
Drivers are expected to maintain the functionality of their assigned vehicle's dash cam.

PURPOSE
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Instructor to join Generations Southeast. The CDL Instructor will deliver comprehensive training programs to individuals seeking to obtain their commercial driver's license.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports To: Generations Southeast Manager
Supervises: N/A
Liaison To: Internal, Regional, State, and Local Partners
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Conduct classroom instruction covering topics such as vehicle operation, safety regulations, and federal and state laws governing commercial driving.
• Provide hands-on training in various commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, buses, and other specialized vehicles.
• Demonstrate safe driving techniques and procedures to students, emphasizing defensive driving practices and accident prevention.
• Administer written and practical exams to assess student proficiency and readiness for obtaining their CDL.
• Develop and maintain training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and instructional videos.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate learning and skill development.
• Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry standards related to commercial driving and incorporate updates into training curriculum as necessary.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure consistency and effectiveness in training delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and certification

NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills)
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Class A, Class B, passenger, hazmat).
• DOT Medical Card indicating physical fitness for commercial driving.
• 5 years of experience as a commercial driver, with a clean driving record.
• 1 year experience as a CDL instructor or similar role preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills)
• Additional certifications in driving instruction.
UNUSUAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OR RESTRICTIONS
The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting and is generally sedentary, requiring routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying of items weighing less than 40 lbs. Travel on small aircraft or ferry may be required.

Job Summary
The Terminal Operator position involves providing support at various Delta Western terminals, as assigned by the Site or Operations Manager. Responsibilities may include fuel delivery, dock attendance, warehouse or tank farm functions & maintenance, customer service, monthly inspections, and office administration.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Greets customers and safely provides fuel to tanks and marine vessels.
* Prepares and delivers packaged products and lubes to customers.
* Participates in scheduled and unscheduled boom deployments.
* Completes meter sheets and invoices, ensuring timely submission to the office.
* Maintains cleanliness of dock and yard, including handling waste disposal.
* Checks hoses and equipment daily for damage.
* Assists with barge operations as needed.
* Safely delivers fuel to various customers in a timely manner.
* Completes daily invoices and submits them to the office.
* Operates and transports used oil trucks.
* Reports any unsafe delivery conditions to the Manager.
* Follows DOT regulations, keeps accurate truck logs, and conducts pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
* Communicates with customers to ensure proper service and safety during deliveries.
* Follows company's Petroleum Operations Manual procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
* Performs office administration tasks, including customer service, billing, dispatch, and reconciliations.
* Assists with bulk inventory, warehouse tasks, and ground maintenance.
* Participates in safety meetings and reports incidents or hazards.
* Maintains a neat, professional appearance with trucks, facility, and equipment.
* Adheres to Delta Western's drug-free workplace policy.
* All other duties as assigned.
Education & Experiences
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Two years of commercial driving experience or a combination of education and experience.
* Valid Class B CDL with X endorsement
* Hazmat and Hazwoper can be acquired after hire.
* Medical Examiner's Certificate
* Forklift Certificate can be acquired after hire.

Building long-term relationships with the customers you deliver to
Maintain store delivery truck through adherence maintained to safety checklists, ensuring vehicle is clean, and that basic maintenance is done (e.g., correct tire pressure).
