Job description The Delivery Driver will deliver and unload various company products, including, but not limited to, seafood, beef, poultry and gourmet products. The employee will act as key point of contact with the customer, and in so doing will provide the highest levels of customer service. Responsibilities Perform all pre-trip responsibilities to include checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries. Perform necessary vehicle safety inspections for vehicle. Drive and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route. Ensure vehicle is properly secured during drop-offs. Load and unload products from vehicle using dolly or other appropriate devices safely. Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures confirming receipt of product. Contact management to discuss issues or concerns as they arise throughout the workday.
