Description
As an UGG Stock Associate, you receive, store, pick, count, and distribute products and material to meet the needs of the store. You're responsible for receiving and verifying shipments as they arrive and handling discrepancies so that inventory counts are current and accurate. You help assemble, pack, and ship transfers of merchandise between retail locations or distribution centers. You follow all stock processes and policies, maintain a neat and orderly stock room, and practice safety consciousness and security measures to deter theft. You control any damaged merchandise or mis-mate inventory in accordance with company standards.
In your role as a Stock Associate, you understand that your responsibility extends beyond the back of house. You help replenish and display product on the sales floor and organize it according to our Visual Merchandising standards. When working on the sales floor, you greet customers as they enter the store, direct them to the appropriate products and areas, answer customer questions, and offer current product knowledge. You maintain a positive, cheerful attitude with customers and team members and promote the store and brand image in all interactions. Job Summary
As a Stock Associate, you keep everything moving seamlessly. You'll be responsible for efficiently receiving product, making sure it's quickly replenished on the sales floor and tidy and easily accessible in the stock room. You'll package orders for our customers - quickly but with care and will help with tasks as needed. You'll contribute to an inclusive work environment focused on collaboration and passion for both the product and providing our customers with an amazing experience.

Job Description
Overview: To stock merchandise on shelves and displays throughout the department in a careful, clean, neat, and expedient manner; ensuring that all product is fresh, rotated, and well-stocked for our customers while maintaining great customer service. Pay for this position starts at $15.00 - $20.60 / hour.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age; (18 to use compactor)
- Complete training in the grocery operation
- Ability to prioritize workload and have a sense of urgency
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location
- Authorized to work within the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner
- Commit to the "Golden Rule" and work with other associates to build a strong grocery team
- Achieve the highest associate morale in the industry by managing in a style that is Respectful, Supportive and Totally Team Oriented (RSTO)
- Receive and unload deliveries, check for accuracy, and store product in designated areas
- Keep all grocery products in display cases, coolers, and freezers rotated in accordance with company policy and product code dates and always make use of the oldest products first (first in, first out)
- Clean shelves as they are restocked, fill and build displays, and make sure these are blocked and straightened
- Help to keep the department merchandised in accordance with the needs of the community
- Return all overstock to stockroom in an organized manner
- Perform price changes when necessary
- Notify grocery manager of potential shrink problems (damaged or missing merchandise), out-of-stock items on the shelf, potential security problems, and customer requests/complaints
- Practice the "Cleaner's Creed" and proper sanitation procedures
- Monitor cooler and display area temperatures to ensure product quality; report refrigeration failure immediately
- Keep sales and work area swept clean, orderly, and free from safety hazards; report hazards to management
- Exercise proper safety practices when lifting or moving products or using equipment and tools
Secondary Job Functions:
- Assisting the front end with bagging at busy times
- Present a favorable impression in dress, personal hygiene, and business attitude
- Properly dispose of trash
- Successful completion of the onboarding/e-learnings and checklist within 30 days of hire/entering the department
