Position Summary This position involves duties related to overall administrative support for DDDP facility up to and including: * ordering, disbursing, stocking and inventory of central supply room for several departments, * initiating purchase requisitions and receiving functions in MFMP * conducting inventory of state property, * handling and distributing mail, * submission and follow up of maintenance work orders, * accountability of resident property to include transactions related to client trust fund deposits and expenditures * daily use of computer applications * Maintain certification in the agency approved crisis prevention and intervention program at required level. The Work You Will Do DDDP is a forensic facility working with individuals with disabilities in a secure setting. These individuals have been adjudicated by the courts as incompetent to proceed to trial and have significant behavioral and psychiatric issues. DDDP provides rehabilitative, vocational, and daily living skills training to the individuals served which allows for a smooth transition back into a non-secure residential or community setting. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities * Knowledge of record keeping procedures. * Skill in assembling, disassembling and operating laboratory apparatus. * Ability to receive, sort, verify and store chemicals, apparatus and supplies. * Ability to prepare purchase requisitions. * Ability to inspect equipment and materials to ensure that they are prepared and issued according to schedule and instructions. * Ability to communicate effectively. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Minimum Qualifications * Three years of clerical, supplies or storekeeping experience, one year of which must have involved storekeeping activities. * College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required experience. * A valid driver's license. License suspended or revoked for any reason, work permits (Business purpose/ Employment/Education only license) and some types of restricted license are not acceptable.
