Ensure collaborative agreements are up to date, within legal scope of practice between BHS and PIC. This is to assist with collaboration within the care teams and for diagnostic clarity. Development of partnerships with Master's Programs with Behavioral Health Tracts for provision of internships with PACE (this provides a gateway to assist in recruiting BHS). Conduct complex case review with Behavioral Health Specialists, develop and implement journal club for ongoing staff development. Identify high utilizers in the BH population for targeted case review. Conduct monthly/bi-monthly meetings with BHS staff. Develop a BH Dashboard with easy tracking of metrics. Accurately identify the number of participants with SUD- alcohol/drug/opiate usage, mild/moderate/severe BH diagnosis. Work proactively with the intake team to help design and implement a plan of care for those with severe BH diagnoses. Ensure that there is a thorough initial assessment and follow-up appointments scheduled. Assist in the creation of Behavioral Plans for disruptive participants. Provides and directs administrative support for the Psychiatrist including increase in client facing hours, documentation by BHS. Reviews all orders for Neuropsych testing and works with ordering physicians to determine which are necessary. Reviews/mentors/audits BHS documentation for clinical relevance, completeness, timeliness. Works with site leaders to identify space for BHS to provide individual and group therapy, group education. Oversees scheduling of BH specialists, site rotation for BHS. Monitors case loads and productivity of BH specialists. Assists with determining if sites need additional or less BH coverage. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements Collaborates with Site Leadership and Psychiatrist in providing evaluations of BH staff.
