Cybersecurity Intern South River EMC - 6491 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28311 Division: BITS Summary Description: The Cybersecurity intern must be actively enrolled in a Cybersecurity or approved Computer Science Degree program with an emphasis on Cybersecurity. The interns will be exposed to cybersecurity tooling that is used by assigned electric cooperatives and will be taught how to respond to alerts as well as configuration changes and other adjustments as approved by assigned managers. Interns will learn about cybersecurity assessments and conduct mitigation and new assessments as required. There will be exposure and education to the importance of cybersecurity for day-to-day operations as well as long term impacts. The Cybersecurity intern will be encouraged to make pro-active recommendations as they learn the environment to help mature the existing cybersecurity program.
