Second Shift (2:30pm-10:30pm) Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician AMSOIL INC. has an exciting opportunity as an Industrial Maintenance Technician. The Industrial Maintenance Technician position is a highly skilled role responsible for leading and performing complex maintenance activities, troubleshooting advanced equipment issues, and training maintenance technicians. This role ensures equipment uptime and reliability, minimizing production downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. This position has a work schedule of Monday through Friday from 2:30pm to 10:30pm (with occasional overtime) and reports onsite to the AMSOIL Center located in Superior, Wisconsin. Since this is a 2nd shift position it will include a $2 per hour shift differential. Core Responsibilities: • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics and control systems. • Assist with root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. • Interpret machine schematics, blueprints, manuals, and other technical documents to resolve complex machine issues. • Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for critical assets. • Utilize predictive tools to identify potential failures in equipment or machinery. • Recommend upgrades or replacements based on lifecycle analysis and performance/downtime data • Provide technical guidance and training for Maintenance Technicians as a subject matter expert. • Collaborate with Process Engineering, Operations, Safety and Quality on equipment modifications and reliability improvements. • Support capital projects, equipment installation and commissioning activities. • Maintain and improve CMMS data accuracy and usage. • Work in a safe manner and follow AMSOIL safety procedures. • Comply with AMSOIL, State and Federal procedures for safety and environmental compliance. • Report all safety and quality issues in a timely fashion, escalating as needed. • Support continuous improvement projects as needed. Position Requirements: • Two-year technical degree in Industrial Automation or Maintenance or equivalent combination of related training and experience • Proficient in PLC's, motor controls, HVAC, VFD's, hydraulics and mechanical systems • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Intermediate computer skills • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude • Strong experience in machine HMI applications including machine settings, error logs, calibration, programing, and operation • Valid driver's license, clean driving record and the ability to be insurable for AMSOIL INC. vehicles required Preferred Requirements: • 10+ years' of experience in a high-volume production facility • CMRT License • OSHA 30 Training • NFPA 70E Training • Skilled in CMMS (Limble) usage including writing PM's. • Ability to troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC's. The Custodial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency within an industrial environment. This role goes beyond basic janitorial duties, involving specialized cleaning tasks, minor maintenance, and compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and productive workplace within AMSOIL standards. Examples of Work Performed / Essential Functions: General Cleaning • Sweep, mop, vacuum and scrub floors in production areas, warehouses, offices, and common spaces. • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and commons areas. • Wash windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed. • Dust furniture, HVAC vents and other surfaces as needed. • Keep breakrooms and restrooms stocked with consumables Waste Management • Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and industrial waste according to AMSOIL Standards. Specialized Industrial Tasks • Operate drivable floor sweeper, floor scrubbers and forklift as required. Safety & Compliance • Follow OSHA and Amsoil safety guidelines. • Report spills, leaks, or safety hazards immediately. Maintenance Support • Perform minor repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs, painting). • Assist maintenance teams during deep-cleaning projects. Inventory & Documentation • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies. • Maintain logs of cleaning activities and safety checks within CMMS system (Limble) Non-Essential Functions: • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor in order to meet the needs of the organization. Under the direction of a Supervisor or his/her designees, the Maintenance Technician performs a variety of maintenance and engineering duties including maintaining, repairing, operating, and renovating plant and facilities for the Engineering Department. Incumbent is guided by a basic knowledge of building trades, carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical repairs, plant maintenance methods, techniques and procedures, operation and use of department equipment and supplies. The Maintenance Technician works with the Plant Operations Supervisor who may provide general daily work assignments and oversight of tasks performed. Education, License & Cert: High school diploma or equivalent required. Licenses: Must have valid driver's license required for travel to various facilities and/or use of a snow plow.
