Reviews clinical performance of preceptee with unit leader or clinical instructor. * Provides four contact hours of educational activities, excluding basic patient education. * Contributes to development and evaluation of unit orientation program. * Supervises LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters. * Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority. Minimum Experience: Minimum of three (3) years professional experience. Continuing Education: Twenty (20) hours required annually (10 to enhance clinical expertise); or Fifteen (15) hours required annually, plus ACLS certification; or Ten (10) hours required annually, plus specialty certification; or Ten (10) hours required annually, plus ACLS instructor. Licensure Requirement: Valid Tennessee RN license. Yearly infection control, fire, safety and CPR inservices are required.
