This technologist will perform medical ultrasound of the patient in accordance with a physician's order and work within their scope of practice. The Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) performs a range of non-invasive vascular diagnostic procedures to support the assessment and treatment of vascular conditions. Department: Maternal Fetal Medicine Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 The Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer under the supervision of a qualified physician for diagnosis and treatment, performs a wide-range of high-risk perinatal diagnostic sonographic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to assess fetal development, maternal and fetal anatomy, and vascular structures. The role requires specialized skills in maternal-fetal imaging and supports the evaluation, diagnosis, and care of complex pregnancies within the ambulatory setting. Department: Radiology-Ultrasound Shift: Weekend Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 36 This position is responsible for performing quality ultrasound examinations at the direction of a Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP). Sonographer utilizes application of advanced clinical and technical knowledge to provide safe quality procedures aligned with Cook Children's values and Our Promise.
