Job Overview:

This position is under the general supervision of the Facility Services Coordinator. Environmental Service Worker provides a dual role including light maintenance, preventive maintenance and environmental service work. Activities require strict adherence to cleaning specifications and protocols, proper use of chemicals and equipment and adherence to maintenance and engineering specifications and protocols to ensure a healthy and visually clean environment. Decisions and recommendations are typically limited to following policies and procedures already in place and direction from the immediate supervisor. Environmental Service Worker have a direct impact on critical infection control practice, facility condition and safety, and accreditation therefore making their work essential to SEARHC's healthcare mission.

Responsibilities:

* Cleans and disinfects with friction all environmental surfaces including entire exam rooms, waiting areas, bathrooms (includes showers if applicable), as well as staff offices, furniture, hallways, sweeping and moping. Responsibilities

This is a Permanent, Career-Seasonal position and subject to release and recall procedures. A permanent career-seasonal position includes all the benefits of permanent employment, but does not provide employment on a full year-round basis. As such, selectee will be in a non-pay/non-duty status for at least 2 weeks to 6 months per year based on project requirements or weather conditions. Selectee are guaranteed to work at least 6 months per year but not more than 50 weeks per year, with the work schedule to be determined upon appointment. The typical season for Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park is March through December, but can be variable during these months due to project requirements or weather conditions.

The Municipality of Skagway is accepting applications for a Physician Assistant to enhance our medical staff throughout the summer with a possibility of long-term employment.

Dahl Memorial Clinic is considered a remote site as travel is primarily by ferry, commuter plane and when the border is open by road to Whitehorse, YT and beyond. As the Medical Director the applicant would be required to manage other midlevel providers as well as nurse(s) and medical assistants. This is a contracted position. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Be eligible for licensure by the Alaska State Medical Board
• Comply with all regulations set forth by those organizations.
• Hold ACLS, PALS and ATLS certifications, or be willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Maintain Credentialing and Privileging that complies with Health Resources and Services (HRSA) guidelines
applicable to those who are employed by a Community Health Center.
• Maintain DEA registration.
