About the role - CDL Class B Driver (Bloomsburg, PA)
We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a CDL Class B Driver within our Orica USA Commercial team.
This role will be responsible for driving and operating Orica's bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and installing blasting products for our customers at local construction sites, mines, and quarries as well as being accountable for the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment.
This is a hybrid role that consists of approximately 40% driving and 60% physical work related to the installation of blasting products. Responsibilities include loading products, driving a Class B CDL truck, pulling hoses, operating manufacturing units control systems, and climbing on and off the bulk truck in various weather conditions.
Additionally, this role will operate equipment to provide blasting products while assisting in delivering a high-quality service of bulk explosives to customers. We prioritize safety and strive to ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times.
Work schedule
Monday thru Friday
Local driving (2-3 hours)
Early morning starts (2:30 AM - 3:30 AM)
Approximately 10-12 hours per day
Overtime may be needed
Up to 10% overnight travel may be required
What you will be doing
This is a hybrid role that consists of 40% driving and 60% physical work
Pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicles, including checking and filling fluid levels
Ability to safely hook up and unhook trailers
Drives emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks
Ensure raw materials and dangerous goods are used, handled, and stored according to requirements
Ensure minimum damage to the environment through waste minimization and control
Report all unusual incidents and accidents immediately
Participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings
What you will bring
At least one year of experience driving and/or handling materials preferred
Knowledgeable of DOT regulations required
Ability to communicate and work in a team environment
Good attention to detail and math skills to handle inventory on a daily basis
Ability to prioritize various projects, ongoing daily tasks, and high-priority situations to maximize efficiency
Physical requirements
The work environment involves being outside in all types of weather
Lifting up to 60 pounds and carrying 50 pounds or more of product or other materials
Must be able to load product, pull large hoses, fill holes, and climb on/off of the truck
Shoveling gravel to fill drilled holes consistently throughout the day
Pushing/pulling in working with equipment
Other activities include frequent bending and squatting

Tanker endorsement preferred
Hazmat endorsement preferred

POSITION SUMMARY

Work within specifications and drawings, responsible for ensuring completion, minimizing waste within set dates and times
Ensure the maintenance and preventive maintenance of corrugating plant process equipment to achieve results; ensure all equipment is running properly and meets operational requirement.
Work with maintenance crew to carry out maintenance and repair projects in mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, welding functions.
Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including federal and/or state required environmental systems, OSHA Safety and Health rules, fire and electrical safety codes and manuals, and standard operating procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization including Management, employees, and vendors.
Working knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Systems, computers in an industrial environment including hardware, software configuration and troubleshooting, network configuration and troubleshooting
Ability to read schematics and trouble-shoot various pneumatic, hydraulic systems, PLC's and motors

Job Duties
Trade Compliance Administration and Metrics -
Develop and create performance metrics for agents, brokers, forwarders, and internal departments. Complete, correct, and ensure accurate HTS and ECCN classifications and recordkeeping. Utilize regulatory knowledge to determine country of origin for Company produced materials and recommend marking for same. Investigate restricted party screening for recommendation to management or legal. Calculate and prepare US Customs reconciliation for submission. Submit electronic filings with US Government entities and CTPAT supply chain security program. Manage qualification process for FTA and programs including Buy American to certify and ensure appropriate and accurate recordkeeping. Author protests for submission to US Customs and Border Protection Agency for relevant import entries. Research product scope, qualification, or inclusion in programs including Antidumping and Countervailing duties, and Partner Government Agency entry filing.
Internal Audits and Report Results -
Conduct internal audits of classifications, origin, trade programs, policies, procedures, CTPAT Security Criteria and transactional documents to identify risks. Compile audit results, provide recommendations, and coordinate corrective action to completion. Ensure questions, concerns, and requests for support/help are addressed and documented. Prepare export license applications. Complete corrections to documents or entries and maintain audit trail.
Policies and Procedures -
Research laws, regulations, and best practices to support Company's trade compliance programs. Interface with Company's international locations and functions to ensure alignment of trade procedures. Assist the development and administration of trade compliance policies, procedures, and periodic management reviews. Develop and facilitate training to address specific functions for current or newly hired employees.
Leadership and Development -
Assist in developing and coaching team members. Provide leadership to Support and Specialist personnel as subject matter expert in department. Monitor educational courses in supply chain security and international trade to ensure Company personnel receive appropriate education and experience. Lead training sessions for Trade department and service providers.
Minimum Qualifications

About the role - CDL Class B Driver (Midland, TX)
We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a CDL Class B Driver within our Orica USA Commercial team.
This role will be responsible for driving and operating Orica's bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and installing blasting products for our customers at local construction sites, mines, and quarries as well as being accountable for the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment.
This is a hybrid role that consists of approximately 40% driving and 60% physical work related to the installation of blasting products. Responsibilities include loading products, driving a Class B CDL truck, pulling hoses, operating manufacturing units control systems, and climbing on and off the bulk truck in various weather conditions.
Additionally, this role will operate equipment to provide blasting products while assisting in delivering a high-quality service of bulk explosives to customers. We prioritize safety and strive to ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times.

What you will be doing

Minimize environmental impact through waste reduction and control practices.

What you will bring

DESCRIPTION
Primary duties include providing safe and timely mechanical support, preventative maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing industrial environment.
How you will impact WestRock:
Perform maintenance tasks for equipment within the mill.
Create maintenance requests for repairs based on findings with equipment in the mill.
Performs operational tests to ensure satisfactory installation. Follow general practice in diagnosing/remedying problems.
Routine maintenance inspections following checklist of preventive maintenance schedules and instructions. Investigates breakdowns and determine remedial action as required.
Work with other members of the maintenance crew team on projects requiring a variety of specialized skills.
What you need to succeed:
Performs duties as assigned, complies with all safety regulations, practices, and follows specific directions.
2+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
Able to perform mechanical troubleshooting on equipment.
Demonstrate basic welding techniques using a variety of metals for fabricating, attaching, and repairs.
Demonstrate the ability to use mechanical maintenance hand tools properly and safely; such as pipe wrenches, hand drills, levels, and wrenches.
Must be able to read and work with mechanical blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
Must be able to thread and fit piping.

Position Responsibilities:
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment.
