ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marina Yard Worker will perform general yard and heavy equipment duties under the supervision of the Yard Marina Facilities Manager.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include performing work related to the maintenance and operation of the boat launch ramp, lift well, docks, and managed lands and facilities, including but not limited to mowing, trimming, snow removal, pre-and post-storm preparation and recovery operations, routine preventative equipment maintenance, litter pickup, and painting.
Assist in the Haul, power wash, block & launch of power & sail boats during all seasons.
Depending on the level of training and experience, this position could involve operating boat-moving, construction equipment, forklifts, brush cutters, and tractors, driving medium-duty vehicles with trailers, and using skills in carpentry, plumbing, mechanical repairs, grounds maintenance, and other related duties.
The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Saint Joseph invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track or non-tenure-track position in Engineering Science at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor beginning in August 2025. The rank of Assistant or Associate professor and the type of position (tenure-track or non-tenure-track) will be assigned based on the academic and professional qualification and experiences of the candidate. This is an exciting time to join the department as we have recently introduced a new undergraduate major in Engineering Science and are seeking a dynamic, creative colleague who will play an active role in shaping the new program and facilitating its growth. This position may include program director responsibilities based on the qualified applicant’s demonstrated experience and department needs.
Responsibilities include teaching a wide range of undergraduate engineering science courses, from introductory engineering science courses to upper-level courses. Although all areas of specialization will be considered, we are particularly interested in candidates who can teach upper-level, lab-based courses in digital circuit design and analog circuit design. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate education and student engagement, an interest in curriculum development, ability to participate in student recruitment and retention efforts, ability to engage with regional employers to develop internships and ensure that graduates are prepared to enter the workforce, and broad potential for excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
