Key Responsibilities: - Officiate games for youth and adult sports, ensuring adherence to the rules and regulations - Maintain a professional demeanor while managing game situations and player interactions - Promote sportsmanship and respect among players, coaches and spectators - Make quick and fair decisions regarding game play - Accurately track and record scores - Collaborate with players to ensure smooth game operations - Ensure the safety of all participants Salary: $16.00-16.50 per hour Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00pm-10:30pm Saturdays 8:30am-4:30pm Benefits: Free YMCA Membership Paid sick time Employee Assistance Program My Better Benefits Employee Discount Program Requirements - Strong knowledge of the rules and regulations of various sports - Previous experience as a referee or official is preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to remain calm, confident and composed under pressure - Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail - Availability to work evenings and weekends
