Laurent Simoneau is Co-founder, President and CTO of Coveo, and is considered one of industry’s top enterprise search experts. Prior to Coveo, Laurent was CTO of Copernic, an early leader in desktop search, where he oversaw the company’s product strategy and directed the research and development of core technologies. Laurent also served as Chief Operating Officer at Copernic during which he successfully orchestrated the spin-off of the company’s enterprise search division in 2005 into what is now Coveo.

Laurent is a graduate of Université du Quebec, where he holds an MBA degree. He resides in Quebec City with his wife and children.

Guy Gauvin is COO of Coveo. Prior to Coveo, Gauvin worked for more than 10 years at Taleo, the leading international provider of cloud software for talent and human capital management, acquired by Oracle in 2012, where he was an officer. During his tenure he served as Executive Vice President Global Services, held the role of Chief Operating Officer and was involved in leading the integration of several acquisitions globally. Prior to Taleo, Gauvin was Vice President of Worldwide Services at Baan Supply Chain Solutions, the supply-chain management solutions subsidiary of Baan ERP software company.

Guy received a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Laval University in Quebec. Outside of work Guy enjoys cycling, playing tennis and hockey. He resides in Quebec with his wife and 2 children.

Nicholas Goode is the Chief Corporate Development Officer at Coveo. In his role, he works closely with the leadership team to assist with corporate strategy and M&A activities as the company continues its rapid growth and expansion in the market.

Prior to joining Coveo, Nicholas was a Principal at Evergreen Coast Capital, the Menlo Park-based private equity firm and investor in Coveo. While at Evergreen, Nick helped to oversee the firm’s existing investments, and also identified, evaluated, and executed new acquisition and investment opportunities, including the firm’s investment in Coveo in 2018 and 2019. Prior to Evergreen, Nick was an Associate at Genstar Capital, a private equity firm based in San Francisco.

Nicholas received his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated Magna cum Laude. Outside of work, he is an avid golfer and sports fan, and currently resides in Chicago with his wife and dog.
