Job Title: Environmental Compliance Consultant
About the Job: Altamira-US (Altamira) is seeking an Environmental Compliance Consultant to join our technical team. In this role, you will contribute technically to challenging environmental compliance assurance, permitting, management systems, and auditing projects for industrial clients throughout the Gulf and other national locations. You will also network with Altamira's compliance and auditing technical team to share consulting opportunities, business relationships, and best practices to address client needs.

Responsibilities:
Support client work and develop hands-on experience to expand Altamira's environmental compliance area and client base in the oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, renewables, and technology sectors.
Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take an active leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clients.
Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business.
Execute projects in environmental permits/inspection and compliance assurance programs for a variety of industrial clients with complex technical/regulatory issues.
Achieve client's expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
Serve as a project resource for compliance assurance and permitting programs, review plans, permits, and inspection documentation prior to submittal to clients and/or agencies.
Structure and support the development of deliverables (word proposals, client PowerPoint presentations) from development of storylines to client-ready slides/decks.
Support the general growth and development of Altamira's management systems & compliance and auditing services.
Collaborate with other Altamira experts to execute compliance and auditing projects, including participating on teams of professionals from multiple offices around the global organization.
Actively engage and inspire others in the team through strong collaboration.
Requirements:
BS/MS in engineering (chemical, environmental), environmental science, or related degree. EIT or PE license desired. Or the equivalency of 8+ years related experience in lieu of education.
5-8 years of relevant experience in environmental/compliance consulting.
Well-established reputation and recognized technical expertise in the marketplace.
Proven experience in business development for environmental/regulatory compliance contracts, with the ability to contribute to Altamira's annual sales goals.
Consulting experience working with SPCC, NPDES, RCRA, EPCRA, and other environmental regulations.
Excellent communication (written/verbal), strategic thinking, negotiation, presentation, and “people” skills.

The salary range for this role is $240,000 - $260,000.

Position Summary
A Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Analyst III is a Cybersecurity professional responsible for the maintenance and support of Cybersecurity's many programs (including risk management, compliance, vulnerability management and security awareness training) that meets the parameters prescribed by the Office of the CISO for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and Manage Compliance Concerns: Track and respond to compliance issues reported through multiple channels (phone, email, hotline, website).
Conduct Investigations: Perform independent, thorough investigations into alleged compliance violations, including gathering evidence, conducting interviews, and analyzing documentation.
Coordinate with Stakeholders: Work closely with Legal, HR, IT Security, and other control functions to ensure unbiased resolutions and consistent disciplinary actions.
Evaluate Evidence and Recommend Actions: Review facts, witness statements, and documentation to determine policy violations; prepare investigation summaries and recommendations.
Maintain Records and Systems: Keep detailed investigation files, update compliance databases, and monitor systems for effectiveness.
Policy Development: Collaborate with team members to create, maintain, and update Corporate Compliance policies and procedures; provide input on related policies across the organization.
Training and Education: Recommend training topics based on trends; develop and deliver compliance education sessions (in-person, virtual, and e-learning); track completion of certifications.
Audit and Monitoring Support: Assist internal and external auditors during compliance reviews; prepare reports on compliance operations and progress.
Systems Administration: Serve as administrator for compliance-related software programs and systems.
Program Support: Assist in administering the Anti-Bribery & Corruption program, KYC and other compliance initiatives.
Other Duties: Perform additional compliance-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 4 years of experience in compliance or related functions (Legal, Risk, Internal Audit).
Experience with investigations and interviewing preferred.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with compliance software preferred.
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification is a plus.

The Regulatory Compliance Analyst role focuses on overseeing AI Governance and Third-Party Risk Management, supporting compliance and risk activities, handling regulatory and policy tasks, and advising on compliance risks. Supports day-to-day Artificial Intelligence risk management oversight activities.
Conducts risk assessments on third-party vendors for TPRM Program.
Provides regulatory exam support.

Performs and facilitates various assessments based on FFIEC IT Booklets, SOC 1, and SOC 2 requirements.
Evaluates effectiveness of control design and effectiveness to meet compliance requirements.
Performs compliance reviews at the request of management for updates to business processes or new product initiatives.
Assists with client audit activities for large enterprise clients.
Supports the creation and management of meeting materials for the AI Ethics Committee, Enterprise Risk Oversight Committee, and the Risk and Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors.

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Mathematics and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree; or equivalent related work experience.
Excellent understanding of various banking compliance requirements (e.g., EU AIA, FFIEC, FRB, OCC, FDIC, CFPB, ACH, and NACHA regulations and guidance).
Strong program management skills with strong presentation development and delivery skills.
