Title: Gaming Commissioner Schedule: Varied Classification: Part time Hours: Varied (minimally, one meeting per month) Salary Range: Stipend and mileage per meeting The Tribal Council is seeking letters of interest and resumes from Cowlitz Indian Tribal members interested in serving as a member of the Cowlitz Tribal Gaming Commission (“Commission”). Terms of office for the initial members of the Commission will be staggered between five and seven years. ELIGIBILITY: The minimum requirements for appointment as a member of the Tribal Gaming Commission shall include experience and knowledge of gaming management, business, finance, or law. Five years of experience in gaming or other regulatory affairs, public accounting or business finance, public or business administration, judicial or dispute resolution services, criminal justice, civil or criminal investigation, or law is desired. Commissioners must satisfy the suitability standards for key employees and primary management officials including background investigations.
