The Senior NVH & Durability Analyst will perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to solve Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH) and durability problems to aid engineering in the upfront design of vehicle, aerospace, and amusement park ride structures. The Senior NVH & Durability Analyst will build FEA models and conduct Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) analysis supported by sound engineering explanation and hand calculations. This position is located in Livonia, MI.
Responsibilities:
Build FEA models for various applications in the automotive, aerospace, and industrial segments using commercial software (MSC-NASTRAN, ABAQUS, and ANSYS Mechanical). Conduct CAE analysis independently using CAE tools.
Support analysis with sound engineering explanation and hand calculations.
Review results with lead engineer or supervisor and share with the customer.
Recommend alternative analysis approaches and design solutions to meet the functional targets.
Interface with customer to complete tasks with a high level of quality while meeting timelines.
Contribute to existing and develop new analyses capability as part of continuous improvement.
Maintain pertinent information in assigned location and perform data cleanup.
Interact confidently and professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
Learn different computer-aided engineering software packages quickly.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) experience.
Experience in modal, point mobility, and acoustic analysis.
Experience in strength, stiffness and stress (including thermal) in linear and nonlinear (material and contact) domains.
Experience in size, shape, and other optimization analysis using optimization tools.
Strong fundamental knowledge in strength of materials and failure theory for metals and composites and vibration concepts.
Strong aptitude in modeling and simulation with ability to solve engineering problems.
Good understanding of kinematics, static, and dynamics.
Advanced software skills in finite element pre-processors, solvers, and post-processors (Altair Hyperworks, ANSA & META, NASTRAN, ABAQUS, OPTISTRUCT, ANSYS, nCode) and Finite Element Method Fatigue (FEMFAT).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Requirements:
Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering specializing in structural dynamics and mechanics, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), or fatigue theory, noise and vibration, and 3 years of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) experience.
Experience in advanced simulation tools such as Simcenter Amesim, and application in autonomous and electric vehicles.

Job Overview

Responsibilities
Technical & Subject Matter Expertise
* Provide in-depth consulting in technical and operational topics for multiple components of SAP systems, application servers, network layers and interface with SAP and non-SAP 3rd party products.
* Act as subject matter expert for mission critical business systems and interfaces
* Provide expert guidance around key business processes implemented, architectural topics and solutions implemented
* Define guidelines for system parameters, establish trends and refine them accordingly from time to time considering industry best practices
System Integration solutions
* Develop solutions for system integration between SAP and other SAP and non-SAP systems

* Provide subject matter expertise in interface set-up and related topics
Partner Delivery
* Work with SI Partner to ensure timely response and delivery of SAP Administrative tasks
* Ensure that system indicators are within threshold and work with SI-Partner as necessary to optimize
* SPOC for local SAP Technical and Integration topics and Major Incident Management for SAP Administrative issues
Collaborate with Application teams, project managers and SI-Partner on defining and delivering project commitments for SAP technical topics
System Security
* Security hardening at application, like gateway and message server security, ports, identifying and implementing OSS notes related to SAP security from the marketplace.
* Evaluating and implementing Cyber Security Goals
* Experience with SAP GRC, designing new roles, and analyzing existing SAP roles and recommend redesign based on best security standards and make sure system, data and application security is not compromised.
Implementing SOX compliance policies and procedures.
Collaborate with SI-Partner to ensure the identified and recommended security parameters are accurately implemented.

The OT Systems Engineer position can be located at any of our North America plants and will be determined based on the successful candidate's location. Operational technology is hardware and software that detects or causes a change, through the direct monitoring and/or control of physical devices, processes and events. For Auria, this includes industrial control devices (ICS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and human-machine interfaces (HMIs) in our manufacturing facilities. This role will focus on enhancing OT device data acquisition, management, and operational processes while bringing enterprise IT and cybersecurity best practices to the shop floor. What you will do:
Technical Leadership:
Plan and execute projects focused on supporting plant staff in integrating shop floor equipment with business systems to improve overall operational effectiveness.
Coordinate with cross-functional technical resources (IT, cybersecurity, maintenance, engineering, operations, and others) to ensure project milestones and goals are achieved.
