Our patients range in age from young adults - 100+ years of age. This unit primarily specializes in surgical, medical & gynecological/oncology patients. Our surgical population includes hysterectomies, mastectomies, small bowel resections, oncology related surgeries and much more. Our unit does administer chemotherapy on occasion. Our patients are on 6 liters or less of oxygen and may have telemetry. Our med-surg unit sees a wide array of patient diagnoses providing you with a variety of nursing skills and knowledge.
