A) Performs ultrasound procedures and examinations according to established department guidelines.
B) Clearly communicates & explains the exam procedure to the patient and any family member present to insure understanding and patient's consent for explained test.
C) Assesses patient's medical, cardiac or vascular status by taking a history before the exam.
D) Assembles a chart with the patient's information and enters information into the current PACS System or Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
E) Records all imaging studies (digital archive) for the Medical Director or his/her designee to review and interpret.
2) Completes patient billing to insure accurate and timely billing procedures. 5%
Criteria
Enters charges daily for procedures performed with no more than 1 error per week. Prints reports from PAC, Epic and On Demand. Checks each charge to ensure the right account number is used and the correct procedures are charged.
3) Supports all functions, goals and objectives of the department as well as development of any new programs. 5%

A) Participate in development of new diagnostic testing procedures to be performed in the department. Participates in the evaluation of new equipment for potential purchase.
B) Educates residents and other medical or technical staff in the technical aspects, indications and limitations.

This is a part-time, night-shift position working one 12-hour shift per week from 7pm-7am or 5pm-5am.
MUST have current Missouri Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) license and minimum of 2 years of experience as an EMT and 1 year of experience driving an ambulance.
Job Summary:
Assists the neonatal/pediatric transport team and maternal fetal medicine (MFM) transport team in a non-clinical support role by safety operating an ambulance and other emergency medical equipment.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operates ambulances in all aspects of patient transport. Adheres to department guidelines regarding safe vehicle operations. Demonstrates good judgement in navigating high risk road situations.
Performs daily operation and stock checks of ambulances to ensure safe transport preparation. Reports any deficiencies to leadership.
Works to maintain a clean ambulance fleet by washing vehicles and cleaning interior as needed and per department guidelines.
Works as a team to ensure clean patient compartment in vehicle and clean patient care equipment. Disposes of trash and sharps from vehicles as needed.
Stocks and maintains supplies and equipment in keeping with patient care needs and cost containment.
Assists with delegated clerical duties such as answering telephone and relaying messages.
Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
EXPERIENCE
Two years' experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with one year of emergency vehicle operation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Constant use of speech to share information through oral communication.
Frequent standing and walking.
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-50 lbs.
