The Contract Resolution Specialist will also act as a trainer/educator of all CoxHealth Network contracts to the network providers and their staff. They must be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision. Some local travel is required along with organizing and hosting meetings when required. They will possess an in-depth working knowledge of managed care plans and CoxHealth contracts and how they pertain to successful operations of a hospital/provider's office. The responsibility of this position impacts the revenue cycle for approximately 40% of the provider's business. They must understand the legality of the messenger process CoxHealth Network uses for independent providers. They must be able to analyze and communicate contractual terms and their requirements to the provider. They will perform initial and recredentialing on-site reviews and chart audits for providers, as needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; contract resolution, delivery and interpretation of policy and procedure changes as it relates to specific contracts, communication of regulatory changes as it relates to the insurance industry as needed, researching new technology with respect to payors medical necessity and coverage, Maintains contacts and provides educational information to network, tertiary/affiliate PHO networks that impact over 3000 providers/facilities. Able to organize, prioritize and multi-task to execute projects and day to day work flow. The position requires responding to a high volume of inbound calls for the purpose of scheduling appointments, appointment confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling. The Navigation Center Representative will be responsible for performing insurance and financial class verification. The Navigation Center Representative processes patient inquires via phone, email, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) tasking. It is the primary purpose of CHCCC to provide the highest quality of total care possible to the patient population it serves. Such a level of quality depends ultimately on the staff's desire and ability to work together, individually, and as a team. The employee is expected to be professional, punctual, maintain regular attendance, cooperative, motivated, and organized at all times. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Additional duties may be assigned with or without prior notice. Provides an exceptional level of customer service to all patients and staff using AIDET Standards. Answers the telephone in a courteous, professional manner, and follow pre-designed scripts when handling patient calls. By integrating physical and behavioral health, we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health, fostering resilience, and facilitating recovery. The 815 Residential Dual Diagnosis program fully integrates substance use disorder and mental health services; beyond merely providing both services under the same roof or cross-training staff, it adopts a model of providing effective services to the targeted needs of individuals with co-occurring disorders. The program treats both problem types as primary and assists participants to recognize key reciprocal factors such as self-medicating strategies; physiological and psychological changes associated with long-term substance use; and the impact of street drugs on mental health symptoms. Services include individual, group and family therapy, trauma informed care, case management, family reunification, treatment planning, individual and group drug and alcohol counseling, re-entry and aftercare, linkage to medical services (including HIV testing and treatment) and medication-assisted treatments (MAT) (ie: Suboxone). The On-Call Client Safety Navigator is responsible for ensuring and maintaining a safe environment for all clients, staff, and visitors, and utilizes verbal de-escalation strategies to address crisis situations and client behavioral issues. This position ensures that the building space is safe and secure. The On-Call Client Safety Navigator will monitor entrances and exits, check clients in when returning from appointments, check visitors in, complete house runs and room checks and help maintain overall safety of the program. The Client Safety Navigator will work with program leadership and health and safety teams to respond to emergency and crisis situations at the program, including client drug use, overdose, programmatic interruptions, and other situations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Client Services: Stationed at the front desk, monitor entrances and exits, check clients in when returning from appointments, and check visitors in. Welcomes and assists clients when returning from appointments, ensuring that clients sign in and check any bags they may have for contraband. Welcome visitors, check visitors' credentials, ensure visitors sign in and escort them to the supervisor on duty. Safety Responsibilities: Ensures and maintains a safe and orderly environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Directs and deflects traffic; de-escalates tense, high pressure, and emotionally charged situations; and fosters a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment. Maintains positive, respectful, non-confrontational behaviors always, even when observing, receiving, or de-escalating disrespectful or disorderly behaviors. Make regular rounds to monitor entrances, exits, offices, common areas, and building perimeter. Ensure a welcoming environment by clearing areas of crowds, debris, and out-of-place items.
