CAD Drafter Dept: Engineering The Engineering Division of Honeycomb Company of America, Inc., has an opening for a skilled aircraft structures CAD drafter. Primary Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: · Create 2D and 3D CAD models of aircraft metal bonded and composite structures. · Use Solidworks and/or CATIA to create CAD drawings and models of detail parts, assemblies, and tooling derived from customer provided MBD data sets, 2D drawings, specifications, loft data, and contract requirements. · Support Engineering personnel with creating manufacturing instructions, build plans, and tooling designs. · Support laser tracker operator by creating CAD surface files used for part and tool inspection. · Provide Purchasing department with CAD drawings and models needed for outsourced services.
