An industry veteran with nearly 25 years of telecom and sales leadership experience, Pugerude previously served as GENBAND’s Chief Strategy Officer, responsible for mergers, acquisitions and business development. Prior to joining NextPoint, he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of Broadwing Communications until its acquisition by Level 3 Communications. During his tenure at Broadwing, a nearly $1 billion, publicly-traded company specializing in telecommunication services to large enterprises, Pugerude was responsible for managing channel sales, as well as product management, product development and marketing communications. Earlier in his career, Mark held executive or sales management positions at PingTone Communications and Nokia Networks and began his career in telecommunications at Motorola in the Communications and Electronics division. Pugerude attended both Washington State University and Syracuse University, studying English and Speech Communications.
