Job Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:45am - 1:00pm - 5:00pm; depending on route and daily workload
Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00/hour
Objective: Class A Drivers are responsible for safely operating all vehicles in our fleet-including tractor trailers, straight trucks, and box trucks-all equipped with automatic transmissions. Each route is supported by a Delivery Helper to assist with unloading. This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and professional delivery service while upholding product quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
Rotate stock and place products appropriately in dry and refrigerated storage areas.
Ensure all pallets loaded onto the truck are secure and stable for transport.
Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier.
Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the supplier.
Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members.
Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) to report any maintenance or repair needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be at least 21 years of age. This is a legal requirement to transport alcohol.
Active CDL Class A License in good standing.
Minimum of 1 year of experience operating tractor-trailers.
Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 5:45 AM; end times may vary between 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM depending on route and delivery volume.

Valid CDL is required - Class A or B

Dimension is looking for the company's first licensed CDL Driver to join our team in San Francisco, CA and drive a boxed truck. You will have a predictable and not too demanding schedule to drive a routine route on a weekly basis, within California. As the CDL Driver, you will be:
TLDR for this role: You will be driving a boxed truck and stopping by a few customer locations in California on a weekly basis to pickup well-packaged hazmat items from customer sites and deliver them to the end facilities in California. The weekly trip usually involves staying in a hotel for one or two nights.
Treating customers in a friendly and professional manner
Conducting a safe work zone during each job site
Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely
Documenting every step of each delivery, including handing customer their waste documentations
Completing a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the location, ensuring that all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of your truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
Completing and filing all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner
Responsibilities may include light warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on to or off of trucks or into warehouse as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
TLDR for the ideal candidate: a reliable and responsible driver that is also a good communicator to both customers and internal team, and great with learning new tech products. We are a technology company and you will need to learn a few tools to work this job efficiently.
Valid CDL is required - Class A or B
The ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (your most common cargo will be 70 pound bundles of shingles)
Some previous experience transporting hazmat items is required.
Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required
Fluent English speaker. You will need to be able to communicate to customers in a friendly manner.
Willingness to load/ package customer items if requested.
Willing to meet in the teammates once a week for a half day in San Francisco office (downtown right outside the Montgomery BART station).
At least 2-3 years of CDL driving experience, with safe driving records.

Additionally, you will assist in the warehouse by ensuring that equipment is stored safely and kept organized. The typical work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. However, you may be required to work overtime and on weekends during events. We host 12 events each year, and this number is expected to grow.
