Project Overview:
Craig Technologies is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Bechtel and Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Craig Technologies's scope of service in Sentinel's current Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program.
A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Craig Technologies has handled such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile-defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. We use our expertise to help our customers securely and effectively transform mission delivery.
Job Summary:
Essential duties include the locating and designing supports for various piping systems and performing associated calculations. Work closely with layout personnel and pipe stress engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required. Prior experience should include working in a 3D model environment. #LI-SNH
Major Responsibilities:
Evaluates, selects, and applies standard plant design and piping engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
Performs pipe support structural analysis using GTStrudl and review of systems in accordance with DoD UFC standards, ASME B31.3, AISC, or other applicable code where required.
Development & application of typical pipe supports and/or creation of pipe support calculations/drawings for engineered pipe supports as required.
Perform coordination review of specifications and other documents prepared by disciplines.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Level I:
Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
Level II:
Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Good knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry codes and standards.
Prior experience using GTStrudl structural analysis program.
Previous Craig Technologies project experience preferred.
Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.
US Citizenship required.
Previous DoD project experience for Risk Category 5 facilities.
PE Registration.
The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $155,000; however, Craig Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.

Depending on the state of the project, you may find yourself working on the following:
- Working with designers, architects and verification engineers to come up with worst-case vectors for power analysis or IR analysis
- Root cause causes of low annotation or low switching coverage with vectors
- Develop & maintain dashboards to track power consumption
- Run tools like Power Artist to identify power saving opportunities and feed these back to the design team.
- Work with emulation engineers to model chip level power consumption and correlate with simulation
- Do post-silicon power measurements and correlate with simulation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises, Inc is looking to fill a Junior Systems Modeling Engineer (Model Based SystemsEngineer) contingent position to provide the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) support for Combat SystemSystemsEngineering trades and analyses for future Naval Surface Combat and Warfare System Operations to NSWCDD.
Primary duties will include (but not limited to):
Develop architecture products that include mechanisms to align systemsengineering with test execution strategies and requirements.
Support the creation of system and subsystem architecture views (functional, physical, power, safety, cybersecurity, etc.).
Provide systemengineering expertise to the Government's continued development of the Government's model base systemsengineering (MBSE) capability.
Provide systemengineering expertise to the Government's development of strategies to future mature Government MBSE capability to maintain alignment with Industry best practices.
Provide systemengineering expertise to the Government's use of advanced MBSE tools, e.g. tools that use the Architecture Analysis and Design Language (AADL) and parametric diagrams (e.g. ParaMagic).

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Four (4) years experience developing and delivering MBSE artifacts needed to support development of SysML/UML models of CONOPS and Requirements, Architecture models, and simulation cases.
Experience with the MBSE toolchain including UML/SysML modeling tools like Cameo, MagicDraw, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody or equivalent.
