Inside Sales Intern BUSINESS UNIT: Crane Pumps & Systems DEPARTMENT: Sales SEGMENT: Fluid Handling REPORTS TO: Inside Sales Manager BASIC FUNCTION: The Inside Sales Intern will learn all aspects of the sales process by spending time in both inside and outside sales with a continuous focus on customer service excellence. This role will also assist with driving project execution of our customer portal and enhancing our customer requests related to replacement pumps.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
* Serve as Project Manager and drive execution to update and link data in the CP&S customer portal.
* Assists with building like for like products requested by customers for replacement pumps.
* Participate in product training in the manufacturing shop and scheduling to develop basic understanding of CP&S products.
* Participate in Outside Sales activities with Technical Trainers and Regional Sales Managers.
* In a timely and professional manner, supports customer call and email activity and responds to customer requests by providing quality recommendations. Effectively monitors customer shipment schedules and alerts customers to changes in delivery schedules.
* Generates quotations to customers and provides recommendations and suggestions to customers to meet their requirements. Utilizes established customer pricing and discount structure and effectively records customer quotations. Develops and distributes customer quotations in a timely manner.
* Works cross-functionally with all intra-company departments to communicate customer product
needs and order status.
* Acts as a liaison between customer and Crane Pumps & Systems organization to investigate and process shipping errors, and debit memos. Works closely with customers to identify and resolve.
* Review and process Return Material Authorizations.
* Other duties as assigned.

**Your day-to-day**
Intern project assignments are focused on our World Class Manufacturing methodology and could be in areas such as:

The Parker Accounting Internship Program is focused on the development of new talent by exposing interns to the dynamic and challenging field of corporate and manufacturing accounting. Position Overview:
The Electrical Engineering Services and Systems global service team is one of the largest and most experienced teams of power system professionals in the industry. As one of our engineers, you'll help to provide solutions to our customers' power problems at every stage of the power system.
The Digital Integration Solutions (DIS) group is a full-service systems integrator with the capabilities to integrate the necessary equipment and technologies, to provide a complete, power automation solution. This team of engineers and technicians brings extensive skills and experiences with a variety of leading HMI software packages enabling us to design graphically rich, easy-to-use operator interfaces that take advantage of the latest standalone or web-based technologies. Our experience transcends a multitude of equipment manufacturers, software packages, and network architectures, including all major OEMs HMI's and components. We offer single point responsibility, a high level of engineering and systems integration expertise, and a unified focus on cost effective solutions, seamless integration, HMI development, energy management tools, and professional turnkey system design and implementation.
In this internship, you will:
* Use modern project and program management tools and techniques to aid in the execution of projects related to the engineering, procurement, and construction of electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS).
* Provide on-site implementation of Power Management and mission critical monitoring and control systems including Power Xpert, Foreseer, PowerNet, and next generation Power Monitoring platforms
* Provide applied engineering and consultation to customers in the areas of system integration, installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, training and modification of power management, control, and mission critical systems.
This internship will help prepare you for both technical and future leadership roles at Eaton. As an intern, you will be provided with a structured training and development curriculum; a blend of instructor-led, virtual classrooms, eLearning courses, and on-the-job training provided by expert mentors and team members to assist you in developing your career.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
* Actively enrolled or received a degree in a bachelor's or master's program with a focus in engineering from an accredited institution
* Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8

* Location will be in one of five major regions within the United States (i.e. Central, Northeast, Southeast, Gulf and West regions); typically in or near a major U.S. city
* Transportation to and from the worksite, and for incidental business travel, is the responsibility of the intern.
* Strong analytical, computer, writing and presentation skills
* Performs physically demanding tasks, requirement to stand, walk, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach above, to, and below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel. Frequently required to climb and regularly required to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds; occasionally required to push/pull greater than 50 pounds with assistance. May be required to drive extended distances, work in extreme weather and temperature conditions, work at sites with areas that have poor lighting, ventilation, and dust and/or be exposed to high noise levels.
* This role may include up to 25% travel within a local region.
* Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton's safety program and policy; This includes role-applicable portions of the EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) program and any required annual re-certifications thereafter.
* The summer internship culminates with a formal presentation where participants showcase their success stories to leaders of the organization and receive feedback on their performance.
