* Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet
* Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials
* Scans freight via warehouse management system with RF equipment
* Completes required paperwork thoroughly and promptly.
* Performs housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment.
* Accurately and courteously load client merchandise
* Job requires presence on-site at the assigned work location

Review markings, address on cargo and ensure correct reference labels are on the cargo.
Outbound Freight: Compares quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct. Sign necessary documents to ensure record keeping along with the usage of system scripts. Efficiently moves product into outbound delivery vehicles.
Facility / Equipment: Maintains equipment and ensures warehouse areas are neat, clean of debris and in an orderly fashion. Operates equipment safely and efficiently. Complies with all local, OSHA and Expeditors' standards.

C. Knowledge/ Skills: Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, divide, multiply) and write legibly. Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis. Must be able to use proper lifting techniques with weights up to 40lbs. The ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety is extremely important. Must be able to handle stress caused in meeting deadlines with tight scheduling requirements. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Crane is seeking a reliable and experienced Lead Material Handler Value Added Deliveries with Driving responsibilities to oversee and lead delivery operations at client sites. This position is responsible for safely transporting materials in company vans, ensuring accurate and secure handling of cargo, and leading a team of material handlers with minimal supervision. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Drive company van to and from customer sites; maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
Lead a team of delivery and warehouse associates with professionalism and minimal supervision.
Serve as the primary point of contact with clients during deliveries; communicate clearly and courteously.
Utilize a smartphone (with voice/data/camera) to coordinate directly with customers (device allowance included).
Ensure the team adheres to all safety protocols, PPE usage, and proper handling procedures.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, materials, and any discrepancies.
Support warehouse functions when not engaged in delivery operations.
