Pros of working at Crate and Barrel

It’s beautiful ! I work in visual so I get to create a beautiful atmosphere that brings you in through color texture placement and more and and I love it so much! it’s like fashion but for your house!

Cons of working at Crate and Barrel

There aren’t many cons I think maybe the distance I had to travel was very demanding on me and my life outside of the job.

Crate and Barrel benefits

My favorite perk would come from being on the Visual Merchandising team because we do deal with the customers and that’s always great ! but we also get the luxury of using our creativity before anyone gets into the store so it’s nice to have a bit of alone time while you be creative!

Pros of working at Crate and Barrel

I developed key leadership skills as a Project Manager at Schmidt Brothers Cutlery, where I worked on a number of key projects helping the company launch its new Website and new product line in Cutlery all on time and it was a huge success. (I put Crate and Barrel as the company however I worked for Schmidt Brothers Cutlery which was not an option when entering the company I worked for)

Cons of working at Crate and Barrel

While it was an invaluable experience, I wish I was in an engineering environment. I learned a lot about marketing and product development which is not what I am necessarily interested in.

Crate and Barrel benefits

I loved working with new people and working in a professional team to get things done. I like being able to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and learning through my coworkers.
