Consumer Insights Associate, Full Time, EastonPA Under the general direction of a Consumer Insights Manager, the CI Associate is accountable and responsible for developing, gathering, analyzing, synthesizing and communicating strategic consumer insights from primary research studies to inform marketing and sales strategies across the organization. Insights guide product development and iteration, packaging graphics/communication, advertising, seasonal opportunities, POG placement/organization, competitive positioning, and more.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Partners with marketing and other cross functional team members, providing insightful learning from consumer research to guide decisions
* Conducts primary research with a variety of global audiences, including parents, kids, teachers, principals, and general consumers
* Handles simpler and templated research studies independently; partners with manager on more complex studies to gain experience with new research methods and data analysis techniques
* Develops survey instruments to meet business/client objectives, including question wording, question type, and survey flow/order
* Programs surveys, including skip logic, display logic, quotas, randomization, flow, and implementing translations as needed
* Develops analysis plan and analyzes quantitative data sets for insights and implications- testing for statistical significance, developing and analyzing crosstabs to assess differences by segments/subgroups
* Manages fielding of quant surveys, including communicating with panel vendor and developing/implementing solutions to any issues that occur
* Moderates focus groups, in-depth interviews, shop-a-longs, and other qualitative studies, and summarizes findings & implications
* Maintains Advisory Panel database and manages recruiting for qualitative studies
* Learns the Crayola business and keeps current with trends and news related to competition, consumers, education, government and their impact on Crayola
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Mechanical Electrical Technician, EastonPA 12-Hour Shift This position provides hands on mechanical support for the operation, repair, and maintenance, preventative maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and systems including processes. This position is a key resource for equipment and system troubleshooting, equipment install, debug and commissioning to manufacturing. This position is responsible for being the technical resource for all manufacturing equipment training. This position will manage and coordinate outside contractors in support of equipment design changes. This position will be responsible to implement continuous improvement projects and reduce operation and maintenance costs.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Performs any mechanical work that is essential to the installation or repair of equipment in use in plant operations.
* Works with manufacturing mechanics and participate in team building and problem solving sessions to improve plant performance.
* Reads, follows and interprets all types of electrical and piping schematics, as well as blueprints, illustrated parts breakdown, etc. essential to the plan mfg. equipment.
* Develops layouts, cost estimates and schedules for installations along with operation of new equipment, as well as repair of existing plant equipment.
* Updates mechanical blueprints and lists as may be required to maintain, rebuild, install or revise any equipment required by the company.
* Repairs and rebuilds at least (6) six of the primary pieces of equipment through out the plant.
* Responsible for the direction, training and assist in scheduling of the maintenance team including the quality and quantity of work performed.
* Identifies and corrects or suggests methods or modifications to equipment to improve productivity.
* Attends training sessions or utilize other methods to acquire knowledge of various plant equipment or systems.
* Communicates and works closely with all team in each department and utilize their recommendations and assistance whenever possible in completing repairs.
* Complies with federal and state Hazardous Waste regulations including proper handling, storing, labeling, and familiarity with Crayola's Emergency Action
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
* Associate Degree in a mechanical /electrical field (preferred) or 3 year Vocational-Technical Trade School and High School Diploma/GED (required) with a minimum five (5) years of mechanical manufacturing support experience in high-speed process/ packaging equipment or (5) years combined mechanical manufacturing support experience and Mechanical/Electrical education or successful completion of the Crayola's Technical Apprenticeship program - 2nd
* Must be proficient in at least 4 of the following skills: welding, machining, pipe fitting, plumbing, metal fabrication, HVAC, PLC editing/troubleshooting, industrial electricity.
* Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems of a simple nature that would enable them to identify faulty components such as: motors, fuses, heaters, limit switches, electrical motor clutches and brakes etc.
* Basic knowledge of electrical controls and PLC´s.
* Must have knowledge of fluid power systems and their components.
* Must be able to troubleshoot and overhaul gear reducers, pumps, transmission clutch, pumps and compressors.
* Working knowledge and ability to calculate, cut threads, valve, fit weld and install steam, pneumatic, vacuum, water or hydraulic systems from pipe tubing to schedule 80 piping, 1/2" to 3" size.
* Must possess a valid driver's license.

Production Maintenance Technician, Forks, PA Night Shift: 4PM-4AM Proper maintenance of manufacturing equipment is essential to be able to deliver reliable production performance. This position is the primary contributor of reliable machine performance to achieve Manufacturing objectives. They achieve that through the upkeep, repair, troubleshooting, and overhaul of existing electromechanical equipment. Their accumulated knowledge is also critical for input on the selection, implementation, and adoption of new equipment.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Performs Preventative Maintenance (PM) on a wide variety of production equipment including processing and packaging equipment. Plan and schedule PM tasks to align with production availability.
* Performs Demand Maintenance (DM), as needed, in response to unexpected downtime, material deviations, quality issues, or safety concerns.
* Using CMMS, tracks time and parts used per individual maintenance task. Responsible for requesting purchase of replacement parts and recommending stock levels of spare parts.
* Actively participates in the development and installation of capital projects for the introduction of new equipment and redesign of existing equipment. Provides input for the design of machine modifications and implements approved machine modifications.
* Supports continuous improvement initiatives through participation of cross-functional teams and ongoing training of machine operators on the effective use, basic preventative maintenance, cleaning, and setup of equipment.
* Effectively communicates performance issues to the appropriate group(s) regarding equipment, processes, and materials across shifts using verbal and/or written electronic communication.
* Maintains equipment and work area in a clean well cared for manner.
* May lead and train other mechanics and/or apprentice mechanics on assigned jobs.
* Complies with federal and state Hazardous Waste regulations including proper handling, storing, and labeling of chemicals and has familiarity with Crayola's Emergency Action Procedure in the event of a spill or leak.
* Must work scheduled production weekends and overtime, as needed. May be asked to work unscheduled production weekends to execute PMs and provide production coverage.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
* High School or GED Degree required; Technical Associate's Degree preferred
* 3+ years of experience in the maintenance of electromechanical equipment, with emphasis in high volume manufacturing preferred or successful completion of the Crayola's Technical Apprenticeship program - 1st tier.
* Working knowledge in (3) or more of the following areas preferred: systematic troubleshooting, low- to high-speed packaging, industrial robots, plumbing, metal fabrication, industrial electricity, industrial control systems, and equipment rigging.
* Possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems of a simple nature that would enable identification of faulty components such as; motors, fuses, heaters, limit switches, electric motor clutches, brakes, etc.
* Fluent in English language, both written and verbal.

Staff Environmental Engineer, Easton, PA Responsible for managing environmental programs under the Plant & Facilities Engineering Department. Specifically provide management and technical support for all Crayola facilities, properties and utilities for the Stormwater Management Program, Wastewater Treatment Management Program, Air Quality Management Program, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Program, and Pollution Prevention and Contingency (PPC) Management Program. Accountable for ensuring and maintaining compliance in these specific regulatory areas for all of Crayola Operations. Provide strategic analysis and guidance to the Director of Facilities & Engineering regarding changing regulatory requirements that can impact Crayola operations, including potential impacts of regulatory changes on business initiatives, operating costs, capital projects, and initiatives to achieve sustainability goals as set by Crayola & Hallmark Leadership.
Also, responsible for managing compliance with other facility specific business licenses such as X-ray machine operation, boiler operation, elevator license, DRBC groundwater withdraw permit, etc.
Position requires the further development of Crayola's Environmental Management Program to meet the company's desire to maintain a regulatory compliant environmental program.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide strategic direction to manage and sustain the Environmental Management Program Responsibilities for the Plant & Facilities Engineering Depart, with a focus on Crayola facilities in the Lehigh Valley.
* Accountable for Crayola regulatory compliance and facility/operations permitting and compliance for Air Quality, Stormwater, Wastewater, SPCC/PPC Management Programs.
* Per permit requirements, monitor, complete inspections, and report on environmental performance metrics for air emissions, wastewater, and stormwater.
* Provide engineering design and support of solutions through system integration, process designs, including support of pollution control systems. Maintain environmental records and ensure accurate, timely, and correct submission of environmental monitoring reports, annual reports, permit renewal applications, permit fees, etc.
* Develop Crayola internal and customer-facing environmental programs, including execution, training, and documentation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into manufacturing processes and projects.
* Lead and manage environmental projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
* Develop and implement strategies for mitigating environmental issues and risks, including emergency response plans and corrective actions.
* Conduct root cause analysis for environmental incidents and develop action plans to prevent recurrence.
* Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits to identify potential environmental risks and areas for improvement.
* On-call for Environmental Program Support (e.g., emergency response for spills, wastewater treatment system upsets, etc.) to provide emergency response guidance and support for environmental incidents (spills, air quality releases, wastewater treatment plant upsets).
* Liaise with regulatory agency officials/inspectors
* Maintain/manage Crayola's commercial operating licenses for boilers, x-ray devices, elevators, groundwater wells and all associated monitoring, sampling, recordkeeping, reporting, work practice standards, and permit renewals.
* Manage lease and service agreements associated with contracted services, environmental regulatory / sustainability programs including landfill free, recycling and energy reduction initiatives. Responsible for all MRO agreements with vendors.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, skills and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job.)
* Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a related engineering field.
* Minimum of 7 years' experience with environmental compliance programs for manufacturing facilities.
* Experience with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) and EPA Air Quality Permits and Air Quality Regulations.
* Experience with PA DEP and EPA Industrial Stormwater Discharge Permits and Regulations.
* Experience with PA DEP and EPA Industrial Pre-Treatment Programs and Discharge Permits and Regulations.
* Experience with EPA SPCC Program and Regulations.
* Experience with PA DEP PPC Program and Regulations.
* Experience Managing Environmental Sampling and Monitoring for Permit Compliance for Industrial Processes.
* Familiar with other prominent EPA and Pennsylvania regulations and program areas such as EPCRA (CRTK/Tier II, TRI), RCRA (hazardous waste, solid waste, recycling), Ozone Depleting Substances, and Greenhouse Gas Reporting.
* Knowledgeable in basic chemistry and biology and able to understand the laboratory reports for environmental samples.
* Conduct monthly visits to each facility to review environmental systems in place.that are important to having a successful environmental program.
* Able to communicate effectively with regulatory personnel.
* Excellent business depth and knowledge with strong leadership skills.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provides high level industrial control systems demand maintenance troubleshooting support in an automated high-speed assembly environment.
* Key resource for continuous improvement projects. Supplies technical expertise, project implementation support and project management.
* Designs and implements approved industrial control systems to upgrade obsolete equipment to stay in compliance and minimize business risk.
* Responsibilities include capital project development, management; estimating, planning, scheduling, designing, programming, testing, and commissioning control systems using the latest industrial automation controls including PLCs, OITs and HMIs.
* Reads, troubleshoots with and creates 2D AutoCAD electrical and mechanical blueprints/schematics. Develops electrical concepts and designs.

* Complies with federal and state Hazardous Waste regulations including proper handling, storing, labeling, and familiarity with Crayola's Emergency Action.
* Stays current with NEC, NEMA, NFPA, OSHA, UL and all other applicable electrical regulatory policies.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
* Associate Degree or Specialized Diploma in Electronics or Electromechanical Technology field preferred.
* Minimum seven (7) years of manufacturing maintenance support experience in electrical, electronics, and industrial controls; or successful completion of the Crayola's Technical Apprenticeship program - 2nd
* Advanced PC Knowledge and expertise in using AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint. Previous experience using data collection preferred.
* Must have high level knowledge of PLC, servo drives and HMI/OIT programming, calibration of industrial instrumentation and controlling devices. Process variables including but not limited to level, temperature, weight, pressure and flow.
* Must have high level working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, UL and all other applicable regulations.

* Actively monitor competitive activity and tactics, flagging potential risks and collaborating with sales teams to develop and execute mitigation strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: 20%
* Partner with sales, marketing, product, and finance teams to develop and refine strategies based on analytics insights.
* Collaborate with the Ecommerce team to ensure alignment between data-driven decisions and business objectives.
* Drive data-driven discussions with stakeholders to gain buy-in and influence business strategies.
Reporting and Data Management: 20%
* Oversee the creation of regular sales and performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and business teams.
* Ensure the accuracy and reliability of sales data, working with IT and data teams to manage data integrity across multiple platforms.
* Continuously improve reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics processes to ensure actionable insights are available in real-time.
Customer Insights and Segmentation: 20%
* Develop deep insights into customer behavior and purchasing patterns to guide segmentation, targeting, and personalization efforts.

* Monitor customer lifetime value and churn rates and develop strategies to improve customer retention.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
* Broad business acumen - strategic thinking, consumer and customer understanding, business planning and analysis skills.
* Excellent analytical and conceptual skills - ability to distill actionable learnings from multiple sources of information.
* Excellent facilitation skills - able to explore new or controversial views in a convincing manner that invites inquiry and joint exploration.
* Ability to gather and distill trend information (POS, consumer, shopper, customer, inventor) into actionable new product concepts, category growth initiatives, and marketing activation.
* Strong collaboration skills (e.g., Platform teams, Product Development leaders, Category Captains, etc.) to drive ongoing platform management and new platform development simultaneously.

Education:
* BA Hons Business, Economics, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
* 10 years' experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or related roles, with at least 5 years in team and project leadership position.
