Overview
Scout House is looking for a Creative Director to define, elevate, and deliver our creative vision - and help shape the future of the Creative Technology department. This is a foundational hire: our first in-house Creative Director, responsible for ensuring creative excellence, building brand consistency, and upleveling our video and campaign work across all client programs.
This is a hybrid role - equal parts leader and maker. The Creative Director will concept, design, and produce work hands-on, while guiding a roster of freelance creatives to consistently deliver at the highest level. They will co-lead the Creative Technology function, ensuring creative and technical teams work seamlessly together to produce groundbreaking experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & Vision

The Opportunity: Creative Producer, TikTok Beauty
We are seeking a highly organized, creatively driven Creative Producer to lead the end-to-end creative vision for our beauty-focused TikTok Shop Livestreams while also overseeing the creative strategy for our new short-form beauty channel. This role will shape livestream storytelling, direct creators on set, and guide the content direction for high-volume TikTok short-form video production executed by the Social Media Manager. You will play a central role in building a high-performing content ecosystem across livestream and non-live formats as we scale a fast-growing sub-business within SuperOrdinary.
This role reports to the GM and is full-time onsite in Beverly Hills, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Livestream Creative Production
· Own the creative direction and execution of each beauty livestream, including scheduling prep sessions, rehearsals, and post-stream regroups.
· Build the full livestream rundown in partnership with product ops and paid media teams.
· Write scripts, talking points, and show narratives that maximize engagement and drive conversion.
· Direct hosts, cameras, and on-set creative choices during live sessions; oversee end-to-end production.
· Determine product demos, set layout, and visual storytelling; provide inspiration and direction for set decor and adjustments.
· Manage relationships with master creators and talent involved in each live session.
· Monitor real-time engagement and make in-the-moment adjustments to optimize performance.
· Analyze livestream metrics post-session and partner with data/strategy teams to improve future shows.
Short-Form Beauty Channel Creative Strategy
· Develop the creative vision, tone, and content direction for our beauty-focused short-form TikTok channel.
· Build content pillars, thematic storylines, and creative concepts aligned with beauty culture, trends, and audience insights.
· Identify high-potential beauty trends and strategic opportunities for short-form formats that map back to brand and product priorities.
· Provide creative direction, briefs, and ongoing guidance to the Social Media Manager responsible for daily short-form video production (3-5 pieces/day).
· Review short-form content for storytelling, brand alignment, and visual consistency; ensure creative output meets channel standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner with product ops, paid media, creative, and analytics teams to align livestream and short-form content with brand priorities, launches, and promotional moments.
· Work closely with creators and internal teams to ensure that content, host style, and product messaging stay on-brand and strategically aligned.
Qualifications
· Deep understanding of TikTok Shop livestreaming, social commerce, and beauty industry storytelling.
· Extensive knowledge of beauty trends, audience behavior, and creator/content formats.
· 3-5 years of experience as a team leader or people manager, with the ability to guide creative contributors and talent.
· Proven ability to engage audiences while managing multiple inputs, troubleshooting, and adjusting in real time.
· Strong writing skills and ability to craft compelling, concise, and conversion-oriented scripts and talking points.
· Ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable creative adjustments.
· Highly organized, fast-moving, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams under tight deadlines.
· Proactive, self-directed, and solutions-oriented with strong creative intuition.
Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 annual salary, depending on experience.
