Scheduling
The shifts that are available are 9am-1pm / 1pm-5pm / 5pm-9pm M-F. (Eastern Time).
Depending on your location and availability you will be assigned (1) of these shifts temporarily until you are well trained and established.
You will start as PART TIME. Once you are established Full time is possible and many reps choose full time. Full on-going success training is provided.

Assists and transports participants for appointments, errands and community outings.
Schedules staff to ensure adequate coverage for the program.
Plan and conduct regular staff meetings.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The House Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of our Brain Injury program. The House Manager ensures the highest quality services are being provided in the program while complying with all relevant regulations. The House Manager is the direct supervisor for all DSPs in the program and provides a significant amount of direct service to the people living in the program as well.
ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS:
Provides quality care to program participants in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice and individuality.
Support daily interactions between participants and staff to promote a culture of positivity, respect, commitment and optimism.
Responsible for scheduling all service planning meetings for the individuals in the program, coordinating with the guardians and case managers around the planning meetings, and writing the plan.
Provides support to the residents according to their plan. Assists in support of the plan by establishing and maintaining relationships with families, community resources and other involved providers.
Is involved in planning meetings concerning Individual Program Plans (IPP) and has the ability to adequately write Individual Program Plans (IPP) that sufficiently reflects the participants' goals and expectations.
Act as an exemplary role model to program staff by demonstrating great attendance, accountability and strong work ethic.
Provide both positive and developmental feedback to staff members. Assist with writing and implementing performance evaluations, warnings, and supervisions.
Train new staff in all areas including individual plans, personal care requirements and performance expectations.
Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage.
Fully understands and abides by the agency's code of ethics and all other CW policies and procedures.
Maintains the comfort, privacy, and dignity of participants in the delivery of services, which may include assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, and range of motion, communicating or other needs.
Fully understands all aspects of participants' rights and is responsible for promptly reporting any evidence of abuse or violation of participant rights.
Conduct and facilitate team meetings and ensure that open communication is maintained within the residential staff and address any and all concerns immediately.
Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with all Participants, CW team members, family members, guardians, caseworkers, medical providers for Participants, and other stakeholders.
Complete all necessary reports and submit (when appropriate) to Business Office in a timely manner.
Assist with the implementation of all program related budgets and monitor budgets as needed.
Must maintain medications and ensure adequate supply at all times.
Approve and make necessary edits to employee timecards within Attendance on Demand software to ensure accurate and timely payroll submission.
Assists with lifts, moves and transports residents, using proper body mechanics with lifting devices for accident prevention.
Completes necessary documentation, including reviewing monthly reports to ensure timely delivery of all documents to stakeholders according to the standards set forth by CW.
Transport individuals, as needed, using personal vehicle (i.e., to appointments, work, etc.).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure daily operations adhere to CARF accreditation standards, as well as State and Federal regulations.
Attend Regional House Manager Meetings and agency House Manager Meetings; communicate any concerns and report outcomes back to staff in a timely manner.
Act as Creative Works' representative during emergency room admissions. Provide crisis intervention during emergency situations. This responsibility is supported by the agency's Nurse Consultant.
Demonstrate understanding of clinical rehabilitative therapies and act as liaison between Creative Works and external clinicians.
Plan and conduct all staff meetings.
Ensure performance reviews are written adequately and presented timely to staff.
