Leila Bartlam is a Head of Production, Production Consultant, Agency Producer and Trainer. Previously she has been Head of Production at Trailerpark (Engine’s in-house production offering), Head of Film and Content at iris, Head of Film at Havas and Head of TV at adam&eve. Leila is incredibly strong operationally and has a passion for helping agencies run more efficiently, whilst still delivering creatively brilliant work. She has an in-depth knowledge and experience of both the day-to-day functioning of productions and what’s needed to lead a team delivering creative excellence. Leila has produced countless TV advertising campaigns, produced social and online content, worked on short films, overseen post-production for a feature film and produced stills campaigns. The work Leila has produced has won numerous creative awards and effectiveness awards from D&AD, British Arrows, Creative Circle and Campaign Bigs amongst others.

Her work at Iris & Trailerpark means she is experienced in working on fast turnaround and low budget creative as well as high production value TV. At Iris Leila became accomplished in the content space and built up a profitable content production company and studio.

Leila was also the managing director of Cut+Run, a global post-production house, where she ran a company of 35, editing award winning commercials, films and promos. She gave them their most profitable quarter in ten years before moving on.

Leila has written and gives a course on content production through The Industry School. This one-day course gives attendees a deeper understanding of planning, production and delivery of filmed content plus the associated business affairs.

Whilst Leila was Head of TV at adam&eve the agency won numerous awards for its John Lewis work. She also oversaw all TV production across the agency's client base including Foster's, John Lewis, Phones 4U, Save the Children, Halifax and Google in addition to putting a process in place for all agency output including print and digital.

Leila has contributed to articles in Shots, Token Man and Campaign, spoken at a She Says conference, taken part in numerous panels and judged the APA top 50 collection and the Rushes short film festival. She has also created and run various networking events.

Leila began her advertising career in postproduction at Big Buoy. In 1999, she joined DFGW and was promoted to producer in 2003. She went on to freelance at agencies including Bartle Bogle Hegarty, CHI, Beattie McGuinness Bungay, Ogilvy and VCCP.
