Job DescriptionSalary: $21.00-$24 per hour MUST LOVE ALL PETS LARGE AND SMALL!! Creature Comforts is looking to hire a Operations/Practice Manager, the position is a Full Time Leadership role. If you have the love and the passion for working and playing with dogs, are success driven, enjoy coaching and build a winning team, while meeting and exceeding business metrics. The Operations/Practice Manager is tasked with leading our team and operating our large volume pet care facility. The PM/OM reports directly to the General Manger as well as the Owner of the business and is accountable for all day-to-day operations, client satisfaction, staff management, fiscal accountability and ensuring that all processes and systems are being followed. The PM is the first point of contact for all operations, and is also accountable for meeting established customer service standards focusing on both internal and external customers. Creature Comforts is a multi-location, high volume facility with various services (Grooming, Boarding, Training) and communal playtime. The business is looking for a strong PM with solid experience and ability to run the operation independently. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled manager who enjoys business building, program implementation, staff development and creating exceptional customer experiences. Principal Responsibilities include;(this is a short version of the more comprehensive duties): Staff Management: The Operations/Practice Manager is responsible for employee hiring, firing, coaching, performance monitoring and team building along with scheduling and assuring proper coverage with fiscal consideration to payroll cost. Operations: The Operations/Practice Manager is responsible for all facility operations (boarding, daycare, grooming, training and add-on services); safety of dogs, staff and clients. Ensuring that established, high quality, customer service standards are consistently met and exceeded; handling customer complaints to ensure positive outcomes. Responsible for ensuring high cleanliness & sanitation standards are met, maintenance needs addressed and supply inventories monitored. Accounting Functions: The Operations/Practice Manager will assist in the day to day accounting functions of the business. The PM is primarily responsible for client account review and related functions. Generating payroll reports, payroll, reconciliation of daily deposits and software. Hands on Additional Responsibilities:The Operations/Practice Manager is expected to participate in all areas of direct animal care when needed. Including but not limited to assisting administering medication, feeding, occasionally walking dogs for potty breaks, and various cleaning tasks such as dishes, animal rooms and runs, kitchens etc. Must be Available to work Weekends and Holidays Must have open availability morning, afternoon and evenings Must be to be on your feet for 8+hr a day, able to lift 50+lbs Must be able and willing to walk dogs that are 90+ Pounds or 2 dogs at the same time Benefits: Flexible Schedule Employee Discount on Services and Retail 401K PTO Experience is Required: Successful candidate will have the following (Minimum) required qualifications: Education: Min of 2 year degree (4 year preferred) in Business /Accounting or Zoological/Animal Science Experience: Min 3 years in a Manager, Operations Manager position (leadership position managing at least a group of 5 people) with a strong track record of successful staff management, including hiring, firing, training & support. Strong track record of customer service and client satisfaction. Pet care facility experience highly preferred, but not required if other skill sets exceptionally well suited Professional references will be requested Pay is based on experience and starts at $21.00-$25.00 per/hr. Salary: $16.50-$18.50 per hour MUST LOVE DOGS, CATS AND ALL FRIENDS FURRY OR FEATHERED!! Must be Available to work Weekends and Holidays Must have open availability morning, afternoon and evenings We are seeking a Customer Service Representative/Receptionist for our high volume resort. This is not a strictly desk or sitting position, the position requires frequent walking and moving throughout the building. If you enjoy working with people, have the love and the passion for working with dogs, and a little drool and some doggy hair doesn't faze you in the least- this could be the job for you! Job Description Specific Duties include, but are not limited to: Greet clients and their pets Answer Telephone with in 3 rings Reply to client Email or Texts same day Organize/maintain desk flow Maintaining records both Client and Pet (ensure all vaccines and client info is up to date Organizing and Filing (some bending and reaching required) Booking Boarding Reservations for upcoming stays Checking in and Cashing out Clients; including balancing the drawer/maintain change Cleaning/Maintaining a welcoming area in our Lobbies for clients And of course the occasional Scooping of Poop Must be willing to help and be able to clean up after pets as needed Specific Requirements: Basic computer and phone skills Great attention to detail Great customer service skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work well within a team environment Ability to multitask and operate in a fast paced environment Can work without your cellphone Ability to walk two dogs at the same time Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (Able to be physically active from beginning to end of shift) Lifting is required (50+lbs) Work with small and large dogs various breeds, sizes and activity levels Have a confident and patient demeanor Of course you MUST love animals! Experience is Required: Successful candidate will have the following (minimum) qualification: Education: Min of 2 year degree in Business /Accounting or Zoological/Animal Science Experience: Min 1 year in a receptionist position (Dr Office, Vet Office, or other similar positions) or in a customer service related setting. Pet care facility experience is highly preferred, but not required. Professional references may be requested. Average pay is based on experience and ranges between $16.50- $18.50 per/hr.
