What Does A Credit Administrator Do At Robert Half

* Perform credit review and approval of new and existing accounts by means of: o Credit Applications o Financial Statements o Credit Agency Reports o Third Party/Bank References o Customer Guarantee's
* Complete collection activities on all assigned accounts including review of past due accounts as well as performing proactive review on upcoming payments due from customers.
* Understand the need to establish customer payment plans and work with credit manager on approval and then manage the plan to ensure customer compliance
* Analyze orders on hold for assigned accounts to either release, hold, or cancel dependent on customer's credit status.
* Determine the basis of the credit hold and take corrective action
* Assist with maintaining online credit systems (Pacific In Touch) with current credit information
* Document customer and collection notes into online system (AR Task Tracking) used by the credit dept
* Prepare annual account reviews (or more frequently as needed) to renew or adjust existing customer credit lines
* Determine and prepare AR write offs on customer accounts to give to Credit Manager for review/approval
* Determine needs to escalate an account to collections and bring proposal to Credit Manager for review/approval
* Respond to customer requests for invoice copies and statements as well as answering general customer inquiries
* Execute exceptional communication skills when dealing with customers in challenging situations
* Capable of working with all levels of the organization from branch personnel, sales team, accounting services, up to senior management
* Provide exceptional customer service in all aspects of the job
* Perform back-up duties for Cash Application as needed

* Prepares Laserpro documentation for commercial loans.
* Verifies pre-closing conditions to the loan have been met prior to closing.
* Review commercial and residential documents for errors and omissions to ensure hat the loan was closed as agreed.
* Assist the Commercial Relationship Officers with the collection of required documents for monitoring borrowers and guarantors.
* This includes sending letters and contracting customers for these documents.
* An example of these documents are financial statements, agings, rent rolls, etc.

* Sets up new accounts, including but not limited to, obtaining bank and trade references and completing investigative due diligence before forwarding to the Credit Manager to assign terms and credit limits
* Processes existing customer requests, including but not limited to, requests for new terms, address changes and any customer file maintenance in the AS400

* Completes special projects and performs additional duties as assigned by supervision

* Gate keeper of cash applications; invoice and credit memo processing and timely refunds of credit balances; and continual customer master database maintenance including sales exemption certificate compliance
* New Customer account set up; includes researching and assigning initial credit limit; performs ongoing customer master maintenance and assures integrity of customer database; responsible for collection of sales tax exemption certificates and customer sales tax status update in customer master and in TEAM

* Maintains accurate records; maintains physical and/or electronic records to ensure compliance with departmental procedures and Sarbanes
* Oxley (SOX) requirements;
* Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department&OTC function as assigned such as internal and external audits support
