The Credit Analyst role is responsible for underwriting small-ticket and moderately complex six-figure commercial credit applications with a primary focus on the Franchise industry, including equipment packages, remodel, new build, and acquisition financing scenarios. The individual in this role will assess creditworthiness through review of credit reports, tax returns and/or financial statements as needed, and other relevant data to make independent decisions within their delegated authority or make a recommendation to extend credit based upon their evaluation. Essential Responsibilities Perform direct and thorough investigation and obtain relevant credit information to formulate credit decisions within established risk tolerances and prescribed time frames, providing written analysis and justification for the decision. Review, spread and analyze financial statements and/or tax returns as applicable with emphasis on global cash flow analysis. Utilize credit bureaus and review personal financial statements and/or tax returns as needed to evaluate personal guarantor's creditworthiness. The primary focus will be within our Franchise vertical but may also support transactions within our other Specialty Markets divisions as needed. To be successful in the Credit Analyst role, you'll need: A bachelor's degree with a major or minor in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
