The Specialty/CRE Analyst and Portfolio Manager serves as the primary APCU Center Parc resource performing initial credit analysis for the underwriting of new business loans, managing an assigned portfolio of existing loans and maintaining a cadence of ongoing credit analysis and monitoring existing loans. The position focuses on Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Specialty (GSA, USPS, IRE, etc.) loans.

Assesses the credit worthiness of businesses seeking CRE or specialty loans and for new and existing businesses members of APCU Center Parc.
Perform a thorough financial analysis; Review financial statements, credit history, and other relevant data to evaluate the borrower's ability to pay on both a short-term and long-term basis.
On a schedule cadence, identify disparities, risks, and fluctuations in financial ratios and make recommendations on creative ways to mitigate risks to the credit union.
Make recommendations on CRE and specialty loan approvals, credit limits, loan structure, collateralization, and terms based upon a thorough assessment of financial risk.
Analyze appropriate structuring options for loan request and booked loans, considering collateral and borrower valuations; Monitors book loans for adherence to structure and covenants.
Prepare commitment letters or collaborate with internal stakeholders or internal counsel to prepare commitment letters.
Demonstrate full ownership of an assigned portfolio of existing business members with minimal guidance.
Complete annual reviews and both material and non-material modifications independently and within assigned time frame.
Coordinate all activity and interactions, associated with modifications, with the members, attorneys, agents, title agencies, underwriters, and processors
Monitor quarterly, semiannual, or annual reporting and financial statements and determine upgrades and downgrades in risk ratings.
Monitors and analyzes escrow accounts for contribution adjustments.
As required, support underwriters in reviewing and negotiating legal documentation.
Promptly escalates concerns, identified risks, or problem accounts in accordance with established procedures and in collaboration with other internal stakeholders.
Ensure that portfolio data is accurate, up to date, and complete; Commits to timeliness and quality of reporting capabilities.
Ensure compliance with established credit policies and procedures.
Perform all necessary tasks and assignments necessary to prepare for audits.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and the ability to make data driven financial decisions.
Effectively use written and oral communication skills in daily correspondence.
Adhere to the provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Military Lending Act (MLA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Housing Act (FHA), the Universal Code (UCC), and any other state or federal regulation associated with the granting of credit that are applicable to this position.
Comply with all aspects of BSA/AML and OFAC regulations as they relate to this position.
Travel associated with this role less than 10%.

REQUIRED Education and/or Experience:
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field of study; 4 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree
3 years of specific work experience where the primary tasks involved credit analysis, underwriting, portfolio management for specialty and CRE loans
3 years of specific work experience using modeling software like Argus, CoStar, lease management software, portfolio management software, and portfolio benchmarking tools and software
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
PREFFERED Education and/or Experience:
5 years of broad work experience managing and monitoring a portfolio of Specialty and CRE loans including the annual evaluation of escrows, loan covenants, and mitigation of credit risks in a credit union
Working knowledge of Symitar, Baker Hill LOS, Meridian Link, Laser Pro, Co Tribute, and other software applications and tools relevant to this position and the evaluation of credit and monitoring of loan performance
Experience in the utilization of data visualization tools for credit and portfolio management
Physical Job Requirements:
Must be physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines such as calculator, computer, printer, facsimile, telephone, copier, etc. Must be able to stand, bend and stoop as needed. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of 5 to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities
* Manage customer accounts within assigned portfolio by engaging in emails and/or phone calls. This includes payment arrangements as well as building excellent customer service relationships to our customers' needs and issues.
* Document all contacts on ERP system and provide any documentation required to expedite payment.

OverviewAgilysys is looking for a Senior CreditAnalyst to join our growing team. This position is a key role reporting up to our Office of the CFO. and directly impacts the financial performance, balance sheet and cash flow of our organization. The essential functions performed in this role will be to maximize cash collections and maintain accounts receivable within established company guidelines. Responsibilities
Manage customer accounts within assigned portfolio by engaging in emails and/or phone calls. This includes payment arrangements as well as building excellent customer service relationships to our customers' needs and issues.
Document all contacts on ERP system and provide any documentation required to expedite payment.
Make recommendations to management on the rescinding of credit terms, more aggressive collection tactics or dispute resolution, resulting from customer contacts and overall payment performance.
Prepare and provide monthly account statements for the customers within the assigned portfolio.
Identify problem accounts, write-offs to bad debt, related adjustments with appropriate documentation for management.
Work collaboratively with various departments internally to resolve issues, improve processes, and manage customer accounts to expedite collections from customers in assigned portfolio.
Collaborate closely with the business operations team on customer billing issues including contract related questions, adjustments, pricing, disputes, returns and other miscellaneous questions.
Maintain compliance with required internal controls and departmental procedures.
Assist with training and mentoring as requested by direct manager and management.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related degree with 2+ years Credit, Collections and/or A/R experience OR Associates degree in Finance, Accounting, or related degree with 4+ years Credit, Collections and/or A/R experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and able to quickly build rapport with customers.
Highly organized and able to work independently.
Ability to rapidly solve complex problems and to understand and match billing to contracts.
Demonstrate positive and professional behavior as a member of a team.
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:
Experience with NetSuite software is a plus.
Experience working with a software company or in the hospitality industry.
