Credit Analyst - Location based on successful candidate, within AgCredit Territory The primary functions of this job are related to analyzing all forms of credit information and, with minimal oversight, preparing a complete documented credit package for all sizes and types of credit facilities, with primary concentration on non-Agribusiness types of credit facilities. With senior Credit Analyst support, providing credit analysis and loan structure support to the retail lending teams; and delivering prompt and courteous customer service to internal and external customers. What You'll Do: Spreads financial statements and performs trend analysis to support credit evaluation. Underwrites loans and servicing actions through detailed financial and collateral analysis. Provides feedback to Loan Officers on loan structure, servicing, and underwriting exceptions. Finalizes credit packages and documents covenant compliance based on financial reporting. Builds relationships with complex credits to enhance accuracy and efficiency in credit analysis. What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business or equivalent experience. One or more years of agricultural underwriting or related work experience. Must possess sound credit judgement and differential credit skills to complete accurate and timely credit packages. Overall knowledge and desire to continually study and be fluent in AgCredit, AgFirst, and FCA credit practices, policies, and procedures, and other general financial terms and trends in the lending industry and particular to agricultural lending. Overall knowledge and desire to continually improve computer skills with experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, CRM, Adobe, SharePoint and financial trending software preferred. Knowledge of appraisals, on-line verification systems, business and individual tax return analysis, standard loan facility structuring, and agricultural commodity projections.
