What Does A Credit Supervisor Do At Advance Auto Parts

* RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following.
* Other duties may be assigned.
* Lead, coach, and develop the Credit team towards achieving the Departments service level agreements and financial goals.
* Responsible for ongoing monitoring and assessment of the Credit portfolio and reporting KPI¿s and other statistics to Senior Management.
* Handle escalated credit decisioning and must be able to gather and analyze credit, financial, and other pertinent data to determine risk involved in extending credit to our commercial customers.
* Responsible for assessing the financial strength and stability of customers and their likelihood to satisfy their financial obligations to the company.
* Partner with internal departments to support strategic goals while mitigating risk.
* Manage escalation and exception processes.
* Assist with various process improvements within the Customer First Department.
* Ability to present information and respond to questions from internal business partners and customers.
* Provide performance metrics to reflect key measurements in the department.
* Work with internal & external customer to clear open AR balances

What Does A Credit Supervisor Do At Horton, Inc.

* Provide leadership for the Horton credit function, analyze customer financial health and recommend appropriate credit term.
* Administer and manage re-man core operation, and Horton car leasing program.
* Lead and direct the work of one credit/cash collection employee.
* Lead and administer the re-man core program and act as a liaison with sales and manufacturing to ensure a seamless process.
* Administer the Horton car leasing program for Horton regional sales managers.
* Handle any damage claims for accidents pertaining to leased vehicles; working with the regional sales manager to obtain all information related to the accident; and act as a liaison with the insurance carrier as well as the leasing vendor to settle claim.
* Ensure department performance goals are established and either met or exceeded and that department expenses are at or under budget.
* Encourage, coach, and lead all employees reporting directly or indirectly.
* Complete required performance reviews and quality related documentation on staff members
