Job Overview:
Employees will perform general production duties in a food-manufacturing environment and will work within strict product standards. Typical positions an employee will fill include: Arranging bacon, Pressing pork bellies, hand packing on an Assembly line, stacking finished cases, and a rotation for work assignments. This position's starting wage is $21.19 per hour with timed pay increases.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Perform all pre-operational safety inspections
Make sure guards are in place at work station
Know and follow all Quality Production Specifications in performance of the job
Know and follow all PPE and GMP in the performance of this job to ensure proper cleanliness of product
Use practices consistent with the highest possible quality and yield results
Take single drafts of OM bacon and arrange them correctly onto product cards
Place drafts of bacon onto the lug conveyor/table correctly, carefully, and timely making sure to fill all available holes
Downgrade necessary drafts that are not OM quality to proper grade
Work as a team and assist other arrangers as needed on the line
Keep area clean by sweeping floors, emptying white tubs into v-mags, clearing packages from green tub, emptying trash cans, and emptying red tubs into yellow barrels
Assist with rejects while at extra position or while there is downtime on the line
Perform additional duties as directed by supervision
All employees are responsible for the implementation, on-going maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Risk Management Process (QRMP) here at Coshocton
Qualifications:
Ability stand for the duration of shift excluding designated break times
Ability to work in refrigerated temperatures for duration of shift excluding designated break times
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to work full-time and overtime
Ability to work to weekend shift and 2nd shift (afternoon start time)
1 year of stable work history strongly preferred
3 years Manufacturing experience required (6 months relevant experience in the last 12 months)
