A Catholic Jesuit school, Creighton University offers an integrated educational experience centered in educating the whole person. Creighton's exceptional academics are complemented by its professional education program, which requires that students engage in field education or internships related to their subject area. As a way to build its students' moral character, Creighton also has a community service requirement that involves students in volunteer work of various types. Student life incorporates religious, spiritual, cultural and recreational activities. A campus ministry, which exists both on campus and online, as well as numerous student organizations and athletic teams are just some of the activities offered. Admission to Creighton is selective, with many admitted students having ranked in the top 10% of their class. Financial aid is offered to eligible students to cover tuition and other expenses.
