We are hiring an Administrative Assistant III to assist with performing clerical, administrative, and general office duties of a responsible and confidential nature for the Dean's Office in the Heider College of Business. In this role, you will provide support for the associate deans, as well as redundant and additional support for the dean. This position coordinates meetings, travel, and conferences, assists in receiving in-person and telephone inquiries, and communicates with individuals across departments and colleges. This position also prepares reports, correspondence, presentations, and operates a personal computer and appropriate software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite). This role is responsible for creating and maintaining databases for accreditation reporting and extracting data from University databases for research and reporting purposes. This position will be responsible for resolving most questions and problems independently and referring more complex issues to higher levels.
Provides direct support for associate deans (e.g., calendar, email, travel, expense documentation, etc.), including administrative support for their responsibilities
Maintains paper and electronic files for various purposes, such as faculty and personnel documents; course outlines and syllabi; course catalog; College policies; minutes and documents from College faculty, committee, and task force meetings
Executes contracting process for FT and PT faculty and payment request process for overloads, stipends, and special pay
Builds and maintains various databases in Excel used for accreditation and other reporting; extracts information and reports from University databases, such as Banner and Provost DMS
Greets and directs walk-in traffic; answers phones; manages email correspondence; distributes mail
Supports College process for rank and tenure applications, including support for the candidates, rank and tenure committee, and dean
Collaborates with other administrative support personnel to manage classroom spaces, common spaces, and office/classroom supplies
Supports various meetings through scheduling, agenda preparation, note taking, transcription of minutes, and catering
Schedules course evaluations using Campus Labs
Manages documentation for Dean's Office staff expenses (e.g., P-cards, CU Buy Plus)
Provides redundant support for dean, department chairs, Undergraduate Advising Office, and special events
Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
Associate's degree required.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
6 years' administrative experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to multi-task and to organize complex tasks and projects.

This temporary PRN Staff Pharmacist in the Outpatient Pharmacy clinic will provide dispensing, distributive, educational, and clinical pharmacy services when needed. This position will cover for the full time Pharmacists up to 16 hours per month in the outpatient community pharmacy.
Essential Functions:
· Dispense or supervise the dispensation of medications and related supplies, according to physicians' prescriptions.
· Review prescriptions for accuracy and authenticity.
· Complete Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) on each prescription.
· Compound medications and prepare special solutions.
· Counsel patients regarding appropriate use of medications.
· Recommend drug therapy changes when appropriate.
· Educate patients and staff on drug therapies.
· Ensure the pharmacy complies with all local, state, and federal regulations.
· Support the technician as needed to include similar duties.
· Support the pharmacy by stocking, assembling, and distributing medications.
· Help health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests.
· Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.
· Provide assistance with other medical services such as injections, blood pressure/ temperature measurements etc.
Education & Experience:
· BS or Pharm.D. earned from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy

Research Assistant Professor - Mechanical and Materials Engineering

The Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering (******************* at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) invites applications for a non-tenure track Research Assistant Professor position in the area of metal Additive Manufacturing (AM).
The successful candidate will develop a research program in metal AM with a particular focus on powder-based techniques such as laser powder bed fusion and directed energy deposition, and hybrid processes. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist with overall daily management of the Nebraska Engineering Additive Technologies (NEAT) lab, including oversight of staff, project management, and adherence to all safety protocols. The successful candidate will also expand the user base of the NEAT facilities by developing collaborations with UNL and other faculty across the Great Plains region and beyond and by partnering with industry. Opportunities to contribute to the undergraduate and graduate programs are available as well through formal teaching within the manufacturing program and student mentoring in research.
The NEAT lab consists of two Matsuura Lumex Avance-25 systems, one capable of processing reactive materials, and an Optomec LENS 3D Hybrid Machine Tool. All the instruments are capable of subtractive machining as well. Extensive core facilities are also available for advanced materials characterization and analysis, including the NanoEngineering Research Core Facility (NERcF) and the Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience (NCMN). The NERcF includes a Nikon XT H 225 ST x-ray computed tomography system, a ThermoFisher Helios 660 Nanolab dual-beam system, and various other capabilities. The NCMN manages a wide range of facilities, including x-ray diffraction and electron microscopy. Mechanical testing systems are available as well.
The Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering consists of approximately 32 tenured/tenure-track faculty, over 700 undergraduate students, and 150 graduate students. Sensors are tested here in preparation for use at various field study sites.
* Design, modify and collaborate with PI regarding protocol and methodology of research topics and provide research planning/design input.

* Provide technical consultation to the faculty, students and staff.
* Collect detailed agro-meteorological data as part of two long-term research projects (AmeriFlux Management Project and Long-Term Agricultural Research Project).
* Analyze data comparing against previous results and scientific theory, review for quality of data output, ensure data is not compromised, compile the results, and prepare progress reports to include in publications of the data.
