The Introduction to Robotic Prototyping instructor is responsible for teaching a certificate-granting course on the fundamentals of robotic prototyping. Introduction to Robotic Prototyping is designed to give entrepreneurs the basic knowledge to begin robotic prototyping, including CAD design, 3D printing, CNC machining, fiber and CO2 laser cutting, and electronic programming. The Introduction to Robotic Prototyping Instructor will work closely with the College of Engineering, and the Director and Assistant Director of Nebraska Innovation Studio (NIS) on the design and implementation of the curriculum, which will be taught at Nebraska Innovation Studio. The Introduction to Robotic Prototyping Instructor will also assist NIS members who using prototyping equipment such as CO2 and fiber lasers, wood and metal CNCs, 3D printers, electronics and robotic arms.
