We'll have one on one clients doing personal training & these athletes range from 7 years old to potentially pro. You can't have an ego around who you work with & must LOVE coaching everyone.
A Day In The Life Of A D1 Coach:
You wake up, brimming with excitement at the prospect of aiding athletes in achieving their goals. Upon arriving at our facility, you'll find a world-class weight room and an indoor turf field at your disposal. Stepping into the facility, you'll carry the knowledge that you are instrumental in nurturing future professional athletes, securing hundreds of college scholarships, and guiding thousands of dedicated athletes towards their goals, ultimately helping them succeed - all thanks to your role as their coach.
You are greeted by a team of world class A-Players, all fun & friendly, but also competitive & performance driven. You look at your schedule for the day & you like that you are on pace to end the week at the top of the coaching 1 on 1 leaderboard.
You coach an adult class with ages 18-60 years old, 15-34 people in attendance. You prepped the turf & weight room to make sure you are good to go, you ensure the workout is on the white board, you have your whistle ready, & you get to work. You lead a dynamic warm up on the turf followed by an intense class with people transitioning between turf & weight room. You use your whistle, crank up the music, organize people, demo movements, & ensure a world class product. You end the 54-minute workout with an announcement & break down.
After this you have a few 1 on 1 clients to work with. An 8 year old soccer player who has never played followed by a 17 year old football player training for college. You write the programming, you schedule the client, you show up to coach, & you ensure a world class product.
You end the day with a scholastic class with ages 12-14 years old. You do exactly what you did with the adult workout from the morning…you provide a world class product.
You end the day with a message from a 1 on 1 client who lets you know that they just accomplished the goal that they set when you started training together 3 months earlier…you provided a world class product.

You walk into the facility that has produced hundreds of NFL draft picks, thousands of college scholarships, tens of thousands of athletes who trained towards a goal & accomplished it (because of you - their coach).
You are greeted by a team of 8+ world-class football players, all fun & friendly but also competitive & performance-driven. You look at your schedule for the day & you like that you are on pace to end the week at the top of the coaching 1 on 1 leaderboard.
After this you have a few 1 on 1 clients to work with. An 8 year old football player who has never played followed by a 17 year old football player training for college. You write the programming, you schedule the client, you show up to coach, & you ensure a world class product.
You end the day with a scholastic team with ages 7-18 years old. You do exactly what you did with the rest of your athletes all from the morning...you provide a world class product.
You end the day with a message from a 1 on 1 client who lets you know that they just accomplished the goal that they set when you started training together 3 months earlier...you provided a world class product.

If you dont bring the juice, or are up & down day to day, you arent a good fit for this high-performance team.
COACH. This coach should be able to step in on day 1 & work with anyone. We have classes for 7-11 year olds, 12-14 year olds, 15-18 year olds, & adults. We have 100+ one on one clients doing personal training & these athletes range from 7 years old to currently playing in the NFL. You cant have an ego around who you work with & must LOVE coaching everyone.
TEAM PLAYER. At D1 Training we do not let coaches pick who they work with. Every coach must be a team player & be ready to train members of all ages & skill levels. Every coach must be willing to coach 1 on 1, group classes, & semi-privates.
A Day In The Life Of A D1 Coach:
You wake up, excited to help athletes accomplish their goals. You arrive at our state of the art facility, equipped with a world class weight room & indoor turf field. You walk into the facility that has produced hundreds of NFL draft picks, thousands of college scholarships, tens of thousands of athletes who trained towards a goal & accomplished it (because of you - their coach).
You are greeted by a team of 8+ world class A-Players, all fun & friendly, but also competitive & performance driven. You look at your schedule for the day & you like that you are on pace to end the week at the top of the coaching 1 on 1leaderboard.
You coach an adult class with ages 18-60 years old, 10-24 people in attendance. You prepped the turf & weight room to make sure you are good to go, you ensure the workout is on the white board, you have your whistle ready, & you get to work. You lead a dynamic warm up on the turf followed by an intense class with people transitioning between turf & weight room. You use your whistle, crank up the music, organize people, demo movements, & ensure a world class product. You end the 54-minute workout with an announcement & break down.
After this you have a few 1 on 1 clients to work with. An 8 year old soccer player who has never played followed by a 17 year old football player training for college. You write the programming, you schedule the client, you show up to coach, & you ensure a world class product.
You end the day with a scholastic class with ages 7-18 years old. You do exactly what you did with the adult workout from the morning...you provide a world classproduct.
You end the day with a message from a 1 on 1 client who lets you know that they just accomplished the goal that they set when you started training together 3 months earlier...you provided a world class product.

What You'll Do
As a D1 Coach, you are the face of our brand and the heartbeat of our community. Youll coach athletes through structured group workouts and 1-on-1 sessions, guiding them to improve their strength, speed, endurance, and overall performancesafely and effectively.

What We're Looking For

CSCS is preferred
Sports Background:
Major plus if you have played competitive sports!
Education: High school diploma + personal training certification(s)
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field is preferred

Compensation
This is an hourly, non-exempt position with pay rates based on the type of session being coached:
Group Training Sessions: Paid at a competitive hourly rate
Personal Training Sessions: Higher hourly rate based on 1-on-1 instruction
Team Training: Variable rate based on contract and size
In addition to hourly pay, coaches are eligible for commission on personal training package sales and renewals, providing strong earning potential for those who excel in building client relationships and driving results. Position Overview
The Head Strength & Conditioning Coach is the frontline leader and quality ambassador for all training and coaching operations within the facility. Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Training
Serve as the primary coach for group classes, personal training, and team training sessions.

Uphold D1 standards for coaching cues, music, attire, athlete engagement, and session flow.
Staff Leadership & Development

Convert community outreach efforts into measurable athlete acquisition, team partnerships, and recurring revenue opportunities

Collaborate with ownership and leadership to align community engagement efforts with monthly enrollment goals, team training initiatives, and overall business objectives
Maintain high levels of athlete engagement and satisfaction to support long-term retention and brand loyalty
Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of experience in strength & conditioning, athletic performance, or related coaching roles
Strong programming knowledge with the ability to coach all ages and skill levels
Proven leadership experience in managing and developing coaching staff
High energy, professionalism, and passion for coaching (bring the juice)
Team-first mindset with a desire to continuously learn and improve
Ability to uphold and enforce national training standards consistently
Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
Has at least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA, preferably CSCS.
Minimum of 3 years of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training.
A bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).
