JOB TASKS:
Transcribes dictation and consolidates and formats documents, including correspondence and patient assessment reports.
Files correspondence and maintains records as directed.
Supports case management department, including maintaining admission forms and packets for incoming patients. Distributes completed/signed admissions forms to appropriate staff.
Distributes petty cash and will maintain reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

Responsibilities
The Clinic/Therapy Aide II will perform necessary clerical duties and with assist with patient treatments as directed. Ability to manage multiple tasks and to work with other staff and departments within a team to ensure quality patient care. Primary responsibilities are assisting with activities in a variety of departments. Duties may include answering phones, and clerical duties including data entry. May accompany patients to appointments. Work is full time during the weekdays, Monday-Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm with some overtime. Assists with the implementation of patient treatment programs in the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech/Education Departments according to legal guidelines and under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist. Requires ability to use proper lifting techniques, good balance, and sufficient strength to provide patients with virtually all levels of assistance from standby to maximum assistance. Must have adequate endurance, motor, visual and cognitive skills to demonstrate and/or assist with therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living, social skills, transfers and handling therapeutic equipment.
Performs toilet and chair transfers without assistance for patients up to 150 pounds utilizing approved transfer techniques. Transfer techniques include standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling. Patients requiring moderate to maximum assistance and weighing over 200 pounds are lifted and/or transferred by two persons.
Performs documentation such as daily progress notes, treatment modules, and behavior modification documentation. Performs organizational/administrative projects such as filing and light typing. Sets up and dismantles patient charts in a timely manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Homeward Bound offers culinary training to individuals facing barriers to regular employment through the operation of the Fresh Starts Culinary Academy (FSCA). FSCA is an American Culinary Federation (ACF)-certified training program designed to provide industry-certified culinary arts training to those with barriers to employment, equipping them with the skills needed for jobs in the food service and hospitality industries. We hire FSCA graduates into four related culinary "social enterprise" businesses, including an events and catering center, monthly celebrity chef demonstration dinners, daily mass contract meal production, and a line of high-end dog treats.
Homeward Bound is seeking a Teaching Chef to provide hands-on, on-the-job, culinary instruction to students and kitchen employees, while also working in a production role in these social enterprise businesses. The Teaching Chef will help to provide mentorship, organization, and a nurturing approach to training in our kitchens.
The Teaching Chef will work closely with the Head Chefs in the production and catering kitchens, and the Director of Training & Culinary Operations, to create a holistic training and learning environment.

Responsibilities
The Staff Nurse - Residential renders professional nursing care at the residential site pursuant to the objectives and policies of the facility. Must possess excellent assessment skills, self-confidence and be assertive in advocating for good patient care in working independently as a nurse. Must be highly organized and prioritize all nursing tasks and procedures in a shift. Education of patients and staff is a vital component of this position. Some on-call work is required.
This position is part-time and is performed at the residential site Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm-10pm. Your key responsibilities will include:
Performs nursing techniques for the comfort and well-being of the patient.
Supervises, administers, assists with, and delegates the distribution of medications.
Takes vital signs and monitors the medical progress of patients. Completes documentation and reporting.
Follows physician's orders and individual nursing care plans, including assisting patients with daily routines, catheter irrigating and assisting with respiratory treatments.
Provides emergency first-aid for patients and staff if needed. Administers TB tests and Hepatitis B vaccines for staff.
Teaches, monitors, administers and documents individual patient programs including ADL's (as outlined on the Needs and Services Plans) and therapeutic home programs in English.
Performs toilet and chair transfers with assistance for patients up to 150 pounds utilizing approved transfer techniques.
Provides for the safety of patients, visitors, staff and self when interacting with patients who may have behavioral outbursts.
May transport patients in company-owned or personal vehicle when company transportation vehicles are unavailable requiring transferring and driving abilities.
Qualifications

Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Duties: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians' orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice.
