Schedule: Morning shift. No nights or weekends
Pay: Based on experience. $22-$28/hr
SUMMARY: The CrewLeader Level 4 helps bridge the gap between field operations and management, leading crews while supporting operations. This position is designed as a development role for future operations management, providing exposure to administrative and leadership responsibilities beyond the field.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership and Team Oversight:
Lead and supervise moving crews, providing direction, coaching, and on-the-job training.
Mentor other crewleaders and movers, identifying and developing potential future leaders.
Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of new crew members in collaboration with management.
Operational Planning and Coordination:
Assist management with scheduling moves, assigning crews, and monitoring job progress.
Review plans for efficiency and recommend adjustments to minimize delays and costs.
Help oversee vehicle readiness, equipment maintenance schedules, and supply inventory.
Performance & Reporting:
Conduct informal job performance observations and provide feedback to team members.
Assist with performance reviews and improvement plans under the guidance of management.
Document job outcomes, safety incidents, and equipment issues for operational reporting.
Job Planning and Coordination:
Plans and coordinates moving assignments, including packing, loading, unloading, and unpacking.
Manages inventory of packing supplies and ensures all equipment is properly utilized during moves.
Allocates tasks based on team members' strengths and expertise.
Customer Service & Communication:
Act as on-site point of contact for customers, resolving concerns professionally.
Communicate job status updates to management, including potential risks or delays.
Participate in operational meetings and provide input to improve service quality.
Quality & Safety Assurance:
Champions safe work practices and ensures all team members follow company protocols and regulatory requirements by enforcing company safety policies and leading pre-job safety briefings.
Perform spot checks to ensure quality standards are met in packing, loading, and delivery.
Problem Solving & Decision-Making:
Resolve operational challenges in real time, handle and addressing any concerns. Escalating significant issues to management, if needed.
Assist management with root-cause analysis and development of solutions for recurring issues.
Professional Development:
Participate in management training sessions, shadow operations managers when possible.
Learn to analyze key operational metrics (KPI performance, costs, and labor efficiency).
Support operational projects, other initiatives, and duties as assigned.

Essential Duties:
* Positioning themselves on the concrete forms and moving the pump hose or concrete bucket into place for the pouring of the concrete.
* Levelling the top surface of freshly poured concrete on floors, walls, ceilings, or sidewalks. Responsible for finishing the concrete surface to meet the tolerances for thickness and flatness before the concrete has cured. Initially, the concrete finisher must strike the concrete with a screed to create a level, smooth surface.
* Applies a bull float to the concrete to further smooth the surface and bring the moisture to the top of the concrete area. The float is operated by a concrete finisher applying pressure to the float as it is moved back and forth over the concrete.
* Applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete. This includes waterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoring concrete surfaces.
* Installing anchor bolts, steel plates and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete.
* Operates a trowel to finish the surface when the concrete has reached a semi-cured status. Moves the machine over the concrete surface to level the concrete and develop the desired finish. Follows up with the finish trowel using the steel trowel. Often, after the mechanical trowel has been used, the final troweling is performed by the concrete finisher using a 14-inch steel trowel.

Nature of Work
The primary purpose of this classification is to provide oversight of a small team composed of semi-skilled and unskilled workers, while actively participating in maintenance and construction projects across various City of Montgomery departments. The work responsibilities include planning work assignments, supervising personnel engaged in both skilled and semi-skilled tasks, and maintaining accurate documentation of project activities. The Labor Foreman I position is defined by its dual function as both a working supervisor and an active contributor to the execution of assigned tasks. The incumbent must possess comprehensive knowledge of the duties performed by the crew, as well as the operation of relevant equipment, in order to effectively monitor work progress and provide on-the-job training to employees. Work assignments are generally issued at the beginning of each shift, and it is the responsibility of the foreman to prioritize and allocate tasks accordingly. Cement finishers are responsible for placement and surface preparation of concrete in conformance with the project requirements. This is a safety sensitive position
Essential Duties:
• Positioning themselves on the concrete forms and moving the pump hose or concrete bucket into place for the pouring of the concrete.
• Levelling the top surface of freshly poured concrete on floors, walls, ceilings, or sidewalks. Responsible for finishing the concrete surface to meet the tolerances for thickness and flatness before the concrete has cured. Initially, the concrete finisher must strike the concrete with a screed to create a level, smooth surface.
• Applies a bull float to the concrete to further smooth the surface and bring the moisture to the top of the concrete area. The float is operated by a concrete finisher applying pressure to the float as it is moved back and forth over the concrete.
• Applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete. This includes waterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoring concrete surfaces.
• Installing anchor bolts, steel plates and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete.
• Operates a trowel to finish the surface when the concrete has reached a semi-cured status. Moves the machine over the concrete surface to level the concrete and develop the desired finish. Follows up with the finish trowel using the steel trowel. Often, after the mechanical trowel has been used, the final troweling is performed by the concrete finisher using a 14-inch steel trowel.

The Labor Foreman I position is defined by its dual function as both a working supervisor and an active contributor to the execution of assigned tasks. The incumbent must possess comprehensive knowledge of the duties performed by the crew, as well as the operation of relevant equipment, in order to effectively monitor work progress and provide on-the-job training to employees. Work assignments are generally issued at the beginning of each shift, and it is the responsibility of the foreman to prioritize and allocate tasks accordingly. Business Planning

Understand how to react to issues impacting the restaurant's profit & loss (P&L) to optimize sales and profit, such as analyzing COGS and taking corrective action if necessary, maintaining inventory, projecting restaurant demand changes throughout the year and adjusting labor accordingly, ensuring that cash control/security procedures are followed, and understanding the P&L implications of workers' compensation claims.
Assist the GM with developing and implementing strategies to increase average meal checks and frequency of Fan visits.
Fan Service
Ensure that Fan service in all areas meets or exceeds company standards.
Establish standards for the management team and crew to handle customer concerns.
Ensure that customer complaints are promptly and appropriately addressed to resolve the problem and ensure that each dissatisfied customer becomes a return Fan.
Understand the importance of speed of service and resolve bottlenecks in work flow.
Build relationships with return or preferred patrons.
Team Member Leadership
Accomplish store objectives by assisting the GM with hiring, training, coaching and developing shift leads and crew members to build a highly skilled and productive team.
Assist the GM with thorough training and new hire orientations; clearly communicate job expectations; monitor each employee and manager's performance and job contributions, provide ongoing and helpful feedback against expectations.
Role model and enforce policies and procedures.
At a minimum, have a basic understanding of how to prepare hourly employee schedules to meet the staffing requirements for each day part and seasonal demands, as determined by the GM. Ideally, should be able to perform this task for review and approval by the GM.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all restaurant staff to foster and promote a cooperative and pleasant working climate, which will be conducive to maximizing employee morale, productivity and efficiency.
Health and Safety Standards
Assist the GM with ensuring that Food Safety is the top training priority in store operations. Ensure that proper hand washing, product rotation procedures, and temperature logging are visible and active behaviors. Role model and enforce safe food handling practices.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, complying with health and legal regulations and maintaining security systems or routines.
Understands how to react in the event of an emergency such as a workers compensation accident, a robbery, etc.
Store Marketing
Bring useful ideas to management about how to attract new Fans and increase restaurant sales through marketing promotions and activities.
May assist the GM in some assigned aspects of local store marketing activities and projects such as public and community relations programs, evaluating local competitors' store marketing, identifying and tracking changing consumer demands.
